"The hotel apartment rooms were excellent and well laid out.We did a mixture of eating in and out.Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. An ideal situation for exploring the town.The hotel layout is straight forward enabling you to be fully involved with everything or, as we did, just use it as a base. Would be suitable for couples, families and mixed groups."
Top Tip:
"We used the supermarket across the square from the hotel,just down from the dvd rentals,lots of local foods to experiment with! We sampled a few of the local restaurants and found the starters to be the best part of the meal. Go for the set menus and don't order any extras. "We thought although the accomodation was of a basic standard it was clean but we were surprised at the number of children at that time of year and normally book later
to avoid this!! as a result the place was quite noisy and rowdy at times.
Staff were efficient but not over friendly.Location was close enough to walk to beach and restaurants.
Overall would not stay here again but would choose specifically self catering accomodation in future."Top Tip:

"for a two star hotel it was very good, the only problem was the walls were very thin and the floors echoed footsteps at any time of the day or night. overall the hotel was very good staff were helpful but the pool area was very small and no sunbeds available."

"Very clean, towels changed every other day and the choice of food for dinner was great. Very friendly staff and good atmosphere. Would definately go back."

Hotel Details - Esmeraldas Hotel
The Esmeraldas Aparthotel is ideally located in a residential area 10 minutes from the beach of Tossa de Mar. Tossa de Mar is a coastal tourist town, where guests can practice varied sports and leisure activities. Alternatively, guests can enjoy walks and short excursions to any of the many local sites of historical and cultural interest. The Esmeraldas Aparthotel offers hospitality and friendly service which will ensure that guests have a most pleasant and enjoyable holiday.
Accommodation
The Esmeraldas Aparthotel offers apartments with 2 or 4 bedded rooms. All are inclusive of a living room, kitchen, full equipped bathroom, safe box and cable/satellite television.

A wide variety of Mediterranean and continental dishes are provided in a buffet style. The restaurant is air conditioned and has a swimming pool view. There is also a snack bar within the complex
