"Situated on a fairly busy road just a short walk from the bus station and the shops and restaurants of Tossa de mar.
The Hotel is a blast from the past with little change since its conception in the 1950's.
On the ground floor there is a bar, reception and dining room with outside seating and outside bar restaurant.
Our room was situated on the side of the building which was quiet however it was in dire need of redecorating and the cleaning was well below an acceptable standard in the bedroom and especially the bathroom.
Breakfast was a simple continental buffet but exceptable and served in the dining room off the bar.
The hotel is ok for a one night stay if budget is your priorty however next time I would increase my budget and stay somewhere better."Top Tip:
"Fantastic restaurants in the old town serve a menu of the day ranging from 10 euros upwards and are amazing value for money including 3 courses, wine and bread."Miami Tossa Hotel check-in Date:

"I thought Tossa was a lovely resport and given its size it doesn't have any inconveniently located hotels. This one's not on the beach but it's easy to find. It is friendly and clean with a reasonable breakfast, and is excellent value for money overall if you don't mind the minimalism of the accommodation itself."

"Rated above average for price paid.As you are no doubt aware, Hoteliers are required by law to display their prices in Spain , when we arrived a check revealed that we would have paid 44 euros per night for seven nights the exchange rate at that time (1.22 euros for the pound) meant we would have paid 36.07 per night £242.59 for the week ! We paid through yourselves £202.19 a saving of more than £40.00.
Will do it again !!"Top Tip:
"Tossa beach is busy most of the time , however , a fifteen minute walk through the shops towards the top of the fort reveals a small quiet beach with all amenities and its a "Sun-Trap". resort recomended but not for older teenagers , clubbers etc. however Lloret de Mar is 15/20 km down the road."Miami Tossa Hotel check-in Date:

Hotel Details - Miami Tossa Hotel
Miami Tossa is a cosy, friendly hotel just two minutes away from the beach, right in the centre of the tourist village of Tossa del Mar, on the Costa Brava. It is located in the La Selva region, in the second row of buildings back from the beach promenade.
Accommodation
All the rooms at the hotel are equipped with shower room and telephone. Baby cots and 15 extra folding beds are available on request. Please note that some rooms are interior rooms and do not have a view.
Food & Beverage
The hotel has two bars - one indoors and the other one located on the hotels terrace. There is also an a la carte restaurant/brasserie open to hotel guests and the general public alike. In the dining room guests can sample a wide variety of local produce, as well as Catalonian and other select cuisine. On the menu guests will find starters, crisp breads, meats, fish, hot and cold baguettes and take away dishes.
Sports & Leisure
Within the premises guests will find garden/terrace, games room, satellite TV room and board games. Additionally, there is a wide variety of leisure activities available near the hotel (payable separately) including boat hire, snorkelling, water skiing, hydro speed, fishing, kayaking, scuba diving, surfing, sailing, windsurfing, hang-gliding, hot air ballooning, sky diving, paragliding, microlighting, gliding, biking, canyoning, hunting, climbing, horse riding, mini-basketball, mini-golf, mountaineering, multi-activity, wildlife watching, table tennis, bungee jumping, quad-biking, hiking, squash, tennis, paddle tennis, archery and 4x4.

Facilities and services available include lift, two function rooms which can hold 90 and 10 people respectively, laundry service, public telephone, healthcare services, individual safe and 24 hours reception. Guide dogs are permitted.
