"We stayed 2 nights in the Las Rampas. We arrived from Malaga Airport by train and it is within a short walk from Fuengirola Railway Station, just following the signs for Dunnes. We stayed half board and the food choice at breakfast and in the evening was excellent. The room clean and a good size. The hotel has a very Spanish feel and is located above a shopping Mall, with the reception accesed by lift on the second floor. We did not use the pool, but it looked nice enough. Very close to plenty of places to eat/drink, and a short walk to the beach. Would go back again on any future visit to Fuengirola."
Brian from Dungannon reviewed the Las Rampas Hotel
"This hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful. We were half board and the night we arrived it was just after 10pm. The restaurant closes at 10pm but the guy at reception rang down and the made us chicken and chips with side salad which we all glad of after a long day travelling. Our room didnt have a balcony, which suited us ok as we had our 2 year old daughter with us. I'm not sure if any of the rooms have a balcony. Very slippy around the pool area and it doesnt seem to get the sun until late in day but the beach is only a 5 - 10 min walk so we just went there. Breakfast is fine but I wasnt sure about the evening meals some were ok but we still ate out a few nights but I like eating outside while on holiday. Overall we would stay here again."
Top Tip:
"The best eating out area seemed to be past Pat and Adrians Scottish bar. If you walk up past there there are some lovely eating places and O'Briens pub is there also. We had a chinese one night and Italian another and they were both very nice. Also there is a lot of buskers around so its good entertainment while you are eating or drinking. Make sure and go to Fuegirola Zoo its opposite the Police station. It was excellent at night (but i would like to see it during the day also)and is open to 12am. There is an african show which is quite good and it starts at around 10.30pm. Also dont miss Tivoli World. It is in Benalmadena. Just get the train it is only about 1.60euro or something like that return. Get off at Benalmadena / Arroyo de la Miel. Go up the steps to bring you outside. Turn left and follow the road around and go up the hill and you will be in Tivoli World car park. Think the train runs until 10.55 pm or so. Dont miss the haunted house that you walk through its excellent. If you have a heart condition give it a miss!!!! Buy a super tivolino it gets you on most rides and will save you a lot of money in the long run. Think they are 12 euro. Overall Costa del Sol is an excellent family location."
