"This is the second time we have stayed at Aloha Gardens and we were disappointed with the accommodation provided this year. Last year when we booked with Expedia we were fortunate to be allocated a duplex apartment (for the same price) which had a sun terrace but this year we were allocated one which was on one level with no sun terrace. There was a high wall in front of our kitchen making it dark. After having used the dishwasher one evening, we awoke to a flood in the kitchen! We called Reception and asked to be transferred to another apartment but we were told it would not be possible, as the complex was fully booked. (We doubted this as it wasn't peak season!)

The receptionist was very unfriendly when we checked in and did not offer us the option of paying a 50 Euro deposit for the car park remote control. As we had stayed there last year and knew about this, we had to ask for this ( so we're not quire sure where she thought we would park our car). She was also extremely rude when we checked out and stated it would take 7 minutes to open the safe so that she could refund our 50 Euro deposit. We left there wondering if she was racially prejudiced and didn't like my husband staying there who is black. It made us feel very upset and as our custom was most obviously not appreciated, we most definitely will not be staying there again."

"This is the second year I have stayed at Aloha Gardens. The apartments are clean and spacious. The only downside is the location to the centre of Puerto Banus, but it was easy enough to get a taxi so this was not a major drawback. I'm sure I'l be revisting for a third time very soon."

"The apartment was very clean. The kitchen was equipted with washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, microwave etc..It whole apartment was very spacious. At least one hours walk to beach. There is a mini bus that will take you to the beach. cost two euros per person but must be booked in advance at reception. there are many steps in the resort so not great if you have a buggy or mobility problems. Pool was great. Had a water slide that the kids loved. Hire of a car is important as a taxi ride to the water park would have cost us £150!! We had a really great time and would go again"

"For 6 nights accomodation the cost was expensive but we had a reason to be near our relatives who lived just ap the road. Having said that the welcome pack was adeqate for the first day. Kitchen well equipped and the apartment (duplex) was spacious The apartment was located close to the childrens pool which was great. Even had an underground parking space for our car
Its in a good location, well maintained with attractive gardens."
