  • "The hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff were very pleasant. The breakfast was continental but ample. The evening meal was in sittings and there was no choice, we ate out most nights. We were half board but bed and breakfast would have been better as there are lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel is in a quiet area but close to all the attractions of Nerja. We had a lovely stay but were put off by the evening meals. There were also alot of flies around at the time, we had to buy a fly spray for our room and there were alot of flies in the dining area."

  • Top Tip:

    "Burriana beach is nicer than the local beaches, it is a bit of a walk especially back as it is uphill. If you have a car go there. We had a lovely meal in the Verano Azul restaurant in the centre of Nerja."

  • "On the good side: Hotel basic but very clean. Towels, sheets changed on a regular basis. Shower very good and powerfull. Free Air Con and Safe (with a refundable 50euro deposit). Staff very friendly and helpfull (but no-one spoke English!)

    On the not-so-good side: Difficulty with getting Staff to understand English. Also the food was very bland. There is no swimming pool (but plenty of nearby beaches)

    On the whole I would recommend it though."

    "There are plenty of Restaurants in the old part of the town, about 5 minutes walk. There are Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Greek, Argentinian, Mexican, as well as Spanish and English! All are very good."
