  • "Staff were great, although the apartments were looking a bit tired the cleanliness was above average, there is no lift so if you are on the top floof be prepared!"

  • Top Tip:

    "There is a great Japanese 15 mins walk away in the marina well priced and the food and service is something else. There are great places to eat within 3 mins walk of the hotel but watch what is put on your bills!!"

  • "had an excellent stay in ecuador apartments,basic but very clean,towels etc changed regularly,staff very pleasant and helpful,was a quiet time of year,but close to restaurants and entertainment,short walk to the top of the road and you can get a bus either way.would certainly recommend and would go back again."

  • "A nice studio and large balcony. Lovely area round the pool and plenty of beds. Microwave and television. Got BBC on the tele. Would definitely go again. Staff all friendly."

  • "I arrived on time on the Sunday to find that the room was not provided with a cot even though i specifically had asked for one for our 7 months old garnd-daughter. They immediately found one which wouldn't erect and then found another which would (in a fashion). Anyhow it was OK for us. Generally speaking the apartment we were in was in need of a refurbishment. I think other reviewers had also made similar comments but for the money we paid I would have no complaints.

    A fairly large party occupying three adjacent apartments and English I'm afraid had no respect for other users as they continually came back to the apartments at around 3.00am -4.30am singing and generally shouting and waking other people up.

    There are no lifts so I wouldn't recommend the apartments for older people unless they are able bodied and have no problems with climbing stairs.

    The plus is the location, close to the restaurants, bars, beach, La Carihuela and the Marina.

    Next time I would look for an apartment that has gardens rather than concrete as the grand-daughter will be toddling around."

    "On the opposite side of the road to the Tahiti Bar on the corner there is a travel agent that gives the best exchange rate around. The Italian just past the the Tahiti Bar on the left is always good value. Go 4 the house wine as it is usally good quality. The Ivy has good quality food though is always packed. Rumours Bar next door is seriously cheap and packed with people watching the weekly soaps. Watch the price of drinks in the Marina establishments as you can get stung in bars like the Metro."
