"ok as far as it goes; price not bad for an "all inclusive", yet even this misleading as payment for drinks required after 23:00 hours and during the day time even for non vending machine coffee;
This is NOT a four star hotel, it is a four star tourist "club" hotel, there is a difference, if there had been no air conditioning in the rooms it would have been a three star tourist "hotel"; that said pool and eating places fine, reception good, but please note this is possibly the worst placed hotel in costa calma (i did know this before i booked); it is right on the brow of a high hill and a LONG way from the beach, a long way down, a very substantial climb up from the beach; also the pool and lunch eating place/bar is a long way up or down from the high rooms in the reception area, please note.
Fine for young couples (and fit young or youngish singles), but i would advise you to think twice if you are, say, over sixty, especially if you wish to walk back and forth from the beach every day.

At the right price, not bad for a stay of a week."

"the hotel was clean and staff very freindly, the food had plenty of choice to suit all tastes. the hotel was about 15 minuetes walk from the beach. thenight life is centred on the hotel as there is not much around the resort it self it is mainly an attraction for a beach holiday so going all inclusive was brilliant. we are going back there next march for another winter break. no complaints at all"

"Hotel reasonable but without tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There were also many stairs with only one small lift. The food was acceptable but very samey after a few days. Not our 4* standard
Coste Calma is a very small resort with limited walks, shops and bars - mostly patronised by Germans. Few excursions other than camel rides and 4X4 tours"
