"We stayed in Esmeralda Maris appartments. The bungalows were spacious with a wonderful inner courtyard, spotlessly clean and had a well appointed kitchen. The aircondtioning workded well but most of the time we only needed the windows open to get a refreshing breeze. On arrival reception were expecting us and as we were starving showed us strainght into the buffet restaruant. We chose not to have half board but we coudl have it when we wanted to. There was a shop on site and also others only a bus ride away. I swam in the pool everyday and had it to my self, it overlooked the wonderful sand dunes where we went daily. It took about 10mins to walk down there and there were loungers and parasols available for 9 euros daily. This is a brilliant place for couples who want to get away from it all. We walked into Costa Calma but never again, it was crowded , noisy and was everything we did not want. There is a good local bus service that runs half hourly outside the bungalow complex. We hope to go back and to have a sea view this time. We did not speak to another English person all week as this is a poplular german resort,"

"Very clean and modern bungalows with similar on several levels. Each contains ample size bathroom and ideal kitchen for self catering. Bedroom of good size with sliding doors to outside patio area featuring a high wall giving privacy and nude sunbathing on sunbeds provided
There is a restaurant of buffet style if preferred for breakfast and evening meals but of limited choice"Top Tip:
"Hotell Esmeralda situated opposite has various activities and several buffet style food areas also a la carte restaurant which is available to all at reasonable prices
Also evening entertainment is provided inside the complex free of charge
The beach is situated close by and ideal for sun seekers (clothing optional) with sunbeds available at a daily charge

Former self catering establishment, so not really a fully fledged hotel just yet
