"My partner and I had an excellent holiday at the Jandia Mar. The hotel is excellent, clean and the food was fantastic, with lots of choice. The only downside is that the pool is too cold to go in and it is on a big hill, although they do provide a shuttle bus to the beach. It can get a bit boring in the evenings if you are AI but we used to walk about 15 mins to the local bars for a drink before dinner. For a nice sunny break in the autumn months, it is highly recommended."

"The hotel itself is fantastic, staff were excellent - we were greeted with a glass of Champagne on arrival. Were weren't too happy with the room that they first gave us so asked them if they had another one with a sea view - they were more than happy to swap.
The all inclusive if definitely value for money - its self service beer/sangria/wine/soft drinks/coffee from all the bars (there were 3) and you can get pretty much any spirit. The food was really good too - we always found something to eat and the selection was so big that we always ended up eating too much!
The beach is about 600m away which is okay to walk for us but for older people, the hill may be too much to tackle. There is a bus that leaves from the front door of the hotel to the beach every 40 mins so thats not really a problem. The town of Morro Jable is about 5 euros in a taxi or a good hour walk - its all pretty scenic with the massive beach but theres not much to do in the town itself - just a couple of restaurants and bars.
All in all, we had a fantastic holiday - I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in the sun (weather was amazing although a little windy on a couple of the days) where you dont need to spend much money at all. We only spent £150 between us the whole week and we went out for dinner and drinks for one of the nights."Barcelo Jandia Mar Hotel check-in Date:

"All the hotel staff were friendly. It was very clean! The food was good. The dining room was orderly. We had a great time, and would go back."
Top Tip:
