  • "First off let me say that this is written because I feel that this could go from a good hotel to great hotel if certain points are looked into.
    The hotel is classed as four star but is let down by three star food. I don't believe any chef with pride would send this food out with their name on it. It was fish, pork and lamb ad infinitum! The lamb was tougher than Mike Tyson and some of the fish were completely unfilleted. You could have repaired the great wall of china with the pasta! The roast pork wasn't bad though.
    Back to the facilities. I have never seen a 26" tv in a four star reception - correction, I have now! There was a lovely baby grand piano in the reception which was never used. The place was very clean, due to the fact that cleaners were highly visible at all times of the day. You couldn't get to the pool bar at one point every day due to the hosing down the poolbar area. Surely this could be done at night? The reception is quite superb save for the lack of any drink facilities or aircon or fans! You had to go down three flights of stairs (evening) or poolbar (day) to get a drink back to the reception. I think the underlying cause for this not conforming to a trad four star is that it shares it's facilities and restraunt with the three star complex.
    Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed our stay here except for these gripes but I'm afraid you can't have it both ways. It is or it isn't a four star hotel and on these issues raised it definitely isn't four star."

  • "Upgraded to "Villa" but the star rating was actually less than hotel room and in need of major upgrade. Was also told that to stay in hotel was 10 euros more per day even though we had paid more for the villa. (???) Apart from that very nice hotel, good food and friendly service."

    "Beach at Morro Jable (2 kilometres) is fabulous - beautiful white sand and turquoise sea - could be in the Caribbean!"

  • "This is a big resort and probably the less ugly in Jandia. The beach is huge and clean but always quite windy. We were all inclusive, the food is OK but bland and not top-quality, i think, for the price. Catered mostly for Germans.
    It's good for one week with small kids. Really nice and exotic birds all around and a small zoo with crocodiles. Also my 4 years old loved going to the mini-club, the staff was friendly and they take the kids for hours on hand!"

  • "This was only our 3rd time abroad and everything was fantastic. The flights were good the hotel lovely the food great (too much) and the destination superb. We will definately use travel republic again and reccomend to all our friends. Thanks for making this a very special holiday."

    "The beach although mixed nudist (quite funny) was fantastic. Long sandy beaches and good waves. Even the sea temp was good. We had two occasions of rain but was short lived and cleared to a wonderful day. The local people are very helpful and this resort made us feel safer than lots of places in the UK."
