"The only dissapointment we had with complex was that the restaurant and bar was closed with no notice, so you had to go off complex to find somwhere to eat.
Complex very clean, staff very friendly would go there again."Top Tip:
"The best place that we found if you didn't want english pie and pint!! was in the Europa Centre just up road from complex, was a Canarian restaurant called Lord Bryon's fabulous authentic food and people very welcoming. If stay at Blue star apartments walk down the 580 steps to the beach and then walk along the coast path to Amadores beach and up the hill back to the apartment not only very pretty and well worth it but not so steep but most of all enjoy."Blue Star Apartments check-in Date:

"was basic but clean and had everything we needed for aweeks break for what we paid no problem"

"Reception welcome was very poor. Room was not ready when we arrived at 2.45pm and were told it would be another 45 minutes until cleaned. Asked to be allocated another room and were told that no as this would cause problems and confusion. After getting the manager involved our room was changed.
Lift was terrible - slow and small for the amount of flats it had to service. Flat clean but very dated.

"Charge a fortune for the hire of fans etc. Television has slot 1 euro per hour.
Linen is gray and has holes, could do with everything updating.
Staff very good."Top Tip:
"San Migel restaurant good food and service at a reasonable price.

"Hotel could have been better. I think with the size of the hotel regarding number of rooms, a more adequate number of lifts would have been suitable. Unfortunately there is only one lift and sometimes you can wait a while for it to come to the level that you are on.
The pool was also not up to a high standard. Luckily the beach at Maspalomas was only a 15minute walk which was extremely nice so this made up for the hotel pool."Blue Star Apartments check-in Date:

The Blue Star apartment complex is located in beautiful Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria and emanates an atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy yourself. It has nice rooms, most with sea view, a pool, a pool bar and other facilities such as a playground and a tennis court. The complex is close to a gorgeous beach, but it is a bit far from the centre. The distance from the airport is 50 km.
