  • "Hotel was very comfortable and well located, right in the centre of the resort. Room was cleaned and towels changed daily. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel has a massive pool and terrace area, which catches the sun all day."

    "Two really good bars worth trying. Rios Showbar which is the first bar you see as you enter the resort, and Fat Moes which is the nearest bar to the Hippy Market. Something for everyone at these two bars."

  • "First week in hotel was excellent and food first class. Second week very different as it was last week sunbeds chairs and parasols were cleared away while guests were still trying to use them. Evening meals were a disgrace. I have never before been served chocolate breakfast croissants for a dessert and surely they could have bought in some icecream for the children. First week I rated hotel 4star but second week not even 1.Bar was also very expensive and ran out of stock which was not replaced."

  • "THIS HOTEL WAS ONE OF THE WORST HOTELS I HAVE BEEN TO FOR MAIN DINNER
    MEALS, IF YOU LIKE CHICKEN THEN THIS IS THE HOTEL FOR YOU MY FIRST 3 DAYS
    WAS 1ST DAY CHICKEN DRUM STICKS, 2ND DAY QUARTER OF CHICKEN, 3RD DAY CHICKEN WINGS, THERE WAS A LIMIT OF CHOICE, MY LAST DAY WAS BEEFBURGERS.
    [ GLAD TO GET HOME AND HAVE A ROAST MEAL. THE ONLY GOOD THING WAS THAT THE BREAKFAST WAS FULL ENGLISH . BY THE WAY AT THIS HOTEL YOU HAVE TO LAY
    YOUR OWN TABLES, [ GET YOUR KNIFE FORK AND SPOON ] THE OTHER THING I DID NOT LIKE IS THAT DINNER TIMES ARE 7PM [MOST ARE 6PM] AND ON EVERY THURSDAY
    THERE IS NO MAIDS, SO YOU HAVE TO MAKE YOUR OWN BEDS. THE RESORT IS SMALL
    WITH NOT ALOT TO DO AT NIGHTS, THE BEACH IS FULL OF SEAWEED AND STINKS,
    NEVER AGAIN WILL I BE GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE. I WILL STICK TO MY SOL
    HOTELS, YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH THEM"

Hotel Details - Caribe Hotel

Official Rating – 3* - Bed & Breakfast / Half Board

From year 1970, Hotel Caribe has welcomed a set of customers who have very often become repeat guests, a fact that shows we’re on the right track. In 2004 the renovation, started with the refurbishment of exterior areas. The hotel’s renovations ended by year 2005 with the installation of air conditioning, television and direct telephone, as well as the total refurbishment of all rooms and public areas. These efforts aimed at improving the service offered to guests.

Accommodation

The hotel consists of 265 rooms in total. The accommodation is comfortable, all double rooms are fully air-conditioned, and have satellite TV, complete bathroom, telephone and balcony. Most rooms accommodate up to 3 persons. A fridge can be hired for added comfort Apart from 25 single rooms; there are 6 double rooms to accommodate disabled guests. There’s the possibility of having inter-connected rooms.

Food & Beverage

Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style within the hotel’s restaurant. Guests will also find a café-bar with outdoor service.

Sports & Leisure

Spacious solarium terrace with two independent swimming pools, one for adults and one for children. The hotel is especially recommended for families. Children’s playground, adjacent fenced wood available for short trips and games, sports court, table tennis facilities and pool tables (upon charge), water sports: sailing school (windsurf, laser boats, etc.), water ski and diving school.

Facilities & Services

The hotel offers integrated security system by means of closed circuit TV, 24 hours reception, car rental and money exchange services, meeting room, regular bus service to Santa Eulalia and Ibiza Town, ferries to Formentera, Santa Eulalia and nearby coves, the biggest and best hippie market in Ibiza (every Wednesday), just 250 metres from the hotel. Just a few steps away from the resort centre there is a good selection of shops, bars, cafés and restaurants where the nightlife is varied and relaxed.

Useful Information on Distances

Starting from Ibiza airport, Ibiza harbour or San Antonio harbour, head for Santa Eulalia and after getting there, go on until you get to Es Canar. Just opposite the taxi and bus stops you’ll find the hotel’s sign, and you’re at the place. The hotel is located 27 km from the airport, nearest beach: 100m, Es Canar centre: 100m, Santa Eulalia: 4 km, Ibiza town: 20 km and Bus Stop: 100m
