  • "Excellent food, very clean room. Staff helpful. The main pool and small pool next to it are good but the two smaller pools at the other side of the complex don't get much use as they seem to be in a constant wind tunnel."

    "The play boat round the corner from the hotel is excellent for young children to play in whilst the parents have a drink in the adjoining bar whilst watching them!"

  • "Myself 50 and two girls 17 had a fantastic time in Costa Tequise - Galeon Hotel - only comment would be is that it does tend to be very windy and this was in August - but weather still good - watch out because you can still burn in the wind."

  • Top Tip:

    "A lovely little cove beach which took from the Hotel door to the beach 3 minutes to walk or 10 minutes walk to the larger busier beach - plenty of good restaurants and we found the entertainment very good in locals bars etc."

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at the Galeon Playa apartments. The room was clean and spacious with a pool and sea view. In addition to the standard hotplates and fridge we had a microwave, kettle and toaster which all appeared to be new. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. When we arrived we hadn't been provided with bedding for the 2nd settee bed but this was dealt with promptly by the reception staff. We stayed half board and found the food to be of a good standard compared to other 3 star hotels. The restaurant was buffet style with a good choice and service in the restaurant was excellent. When my daughter spilt her hot chocolate over the table they quickly came and cleared everything up replacing the table cloths and re-setting the table for us. The hotel is in a good position close to two good beaches and plenty of family bars and restaurants. The pools are not heated but once you have plucked up the courage to get in they are fine. We would be happy to stay here again."

    "The Jablilo beach opposite the hotel is great for snorkling. There are loads of different varieties of fish that swim around you close to the shore. The beach also has lots of rock pools which the kids really enjoyed exploring. We ate out at the Tex Max restaurant one night; the food was lovely, very reasonably priced too. The water park is close by and only cost 3 euros in a taxi to get there. The Sand Castle pub was friendly and good for kids. It has a kiddie corner with lots of toys and Top Trump cards are available behind the bar to borrow. "

  • "Excellent hotel for price we paid. Bathrooms could do with a good scrub but pool facilities great. TVs in rooms with english speaking channels, plenty of room. Kitchen equipment limited but if you're eating out, no problems. Would definitely go back."

    "Both beaches in easy walking distance, both lovely. We had a lovely mexican meal in the 'Square'. Hidden away up an alley by the Lighthouse. La Chispas, also in the square, has happy hour, dead cheap!! Its a must go! "

  • "overall the apartment was good,room was cleaned regular and the food was ok. the staff were very helpful.situated in a prime location.would recommend travel republic to anybody."

    "firstly,book ataxi to take you from and to airport,alot quicker this way.to eat out try the chinese restaurant slowboat,excellant service and value.try english pub called the bulldog owned by mick(tigger). he also owns restaurant next door were they serve a very good carvery"

The Apartments Galeon Playa complex is located at the seafront, at one of the most beautiful spots of Costa Teguise. All apartments have one or two bedrooms, are very spacious and fully equipped with a private balcony. They all feature living area and kitchenette with kettle, toaster and microwave, complete bathroom, telephone and safe. There are many services and facilities on site including swimming pools for children and adults, main restaurant, squash court, mountain bike hire, table tennis, pool tables, dive centre and school and a big playground for children. The distance to the airport is approximately 20 km.
