  • alison from sheffield reviewed the Cay Beach Sun Hotel

  • "This was our second stay at this hotel and whilst the rooms are very clean and well presented the breakfast service and standard had deteriorated as had the maid service for the rooms. The quality of the food provided for breakfast was poor and the service very slow.

we would return again despite this as it is a nice hotel with good pools and convenient for our needs."

  • Top Tip:

"the Contin restaurant amongst the group of bars/restaurants on the beach is very good!"

  • Joanne from Ormskirk reviewed the Cay Beach Sun Hotel

  • "Do not tell people to go halfboard. The food (a buffet style) was dried up and of poor choice. Other than that, the complex was clean and well maintained, plenty of staff to assist you."

  • Alison from Preston reviewed the Cay Beach Sun Hotel

  • "Apartment a little dated and in need of slight moderisation but clean and grounds very well kept. Resort very nice and plenty of short walks. Great range of bars and restaurants."

  • Lois from DUKINFIELD reviewed the Cay Beach Sun Hotel

  • "The Apts were very clean, towels and bed linen changed 3 times a week. The whole of the complex was very well looked after. The staff were very friendly.
Maybe 2 small points: drawers in the bedroom would be useful and more English TV chanels would be appreciated (only CNN and Eurosport in English).
That said, we would certainly stay there again and would definitely recommend."

  • Top Tip:

"We ate in quite a few local restaurants and found them all acceptable. The whole area was very pleasant, especially around the new Rubicon Marina. The coastal walk between Papagayo Beach and the Ferry Terminal area is lovely. We enjoyed our holiday very much."
