"Lovely clean hotel with a super big sea water swimming pool.
Apartments good size.
In a quieter part of the resort but still has a few shops and bars/restaurants nearby.
Probably not the place to stay if you want to be in the centre of everything or if you are looking for nightlife."Top Tip:

"arrival disasterous, given map to find room - miles away, lugging lugggage unaided by trolley (never mind human) hither and thither thro complex to find, with difficulty. Go up 3 steep flights of stairs + luggage only to discover no electricity in room. so had to lug luggage back down and thro complex to reception, man at desk did not apologise and not v helpful about it, offered alternative room
aside from that glitch, hotel fine, clean, nice pool etc"Top Tip:

"THANKS ONCE AGAIN TO THE FLORESTA.THIS IS OUR SECOND TIME THERE THIS YEAR AND WE ARE ALREADY PLANNING TO COME BACK HERE IN MARCH 2009.ON OUR FIRST VISIT IN MARCH 2008 WE HAD REQUESTED A QUIET AREA OF THE COMPLEX WHICH WE GOT WITHOUT ANY BOTHER.ON OUR SECOND VISIT, WE ASKED FOR THE SAME ROOM AND TRUE TO FORM THIS WASN'T A PROBLEM.I MAY ADD THAT THE STAFF HERE ARE VERY PLEASANT AND COURTEOUS AND I INCLUDE MAID SERVICE AND GARDENING PERSONEL.ON OUR DEPARTURE DAY I ASKED TO KEEP MY ROOM FOR ANOTHER DAY AS WE HAD A LATE FLIGHT THAT EVENING AND YES THEY DELIVERED ONCE AGAIN. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK FLORESTA HOPE TO SEE YOU IN MARCH."

Apartment Details - Floresta Apartments
Floresta apartments are ideal for relaxing, family style holidays in an attractive location, just 200 m from the beach. The property is nicely located in Playa de los Pocillos, almost 4.5 km from Puerto del Carmen and about 500 m from Costa Mar shopping complex. From 18/4/2007 up to 27/6/2007 the hotel will be closed due to renovation works.
