"The accomodation is excellent, well equiped and maintained with good regular cleaning services. There are two receptionists- both are charming and very helpfull and a great credit to the hotel. Most of the guest were German so the television was really for them with no Engliish programmes.
I had B&B - the breakfast was very good, although the coffee was very weak
All this is nicpicking becuase really the hotel was very good and represented good value.
I will return"Top Tip:
"The only real problem with the resort is that the local authorities have dug up all the road the whole length of the strip- so its a a bit noisy and not pleasing to the eye.
The shops sell all the usual tat - with a few exceptions. One resturant stands out above the rest La Dolce Vita ( its very close to the hotel) great steak!

"excellent, spotless and quiet"
Top Tip:
"Transfer on inbound was useless - no one waiting as expected with sign we had to wander round to find them - then had to wait nearly an hour to get on bus and more time for others to get on, when we finally got underway halfway round we had to park up and wait while another coach dropped two people off for us to take. To cap it all
the driver dropped us on the main road and left us to drag our cases up the hill, that was after we managed to locate where our apartment was!!!
homebound transfer no problem - driver came to appartment main gate to pick us up
Transfers would put us off travelling with your comfpany again

"The hotel was nice, staff very friendly and helpfull"
Top Tip:

"-Despite being just off the main road, it is an incredibly quiet place.
-If going during the summer months (the hottest) be aware that there is no air conditioning and the windows cannot be opened, so the fan they provide is of little help.
-The rooms are kept clean on an almost daily basis"Top Tip:

"I enjoyed my stay at the Arena Dorada apartments so much that I booked another week and have recently rerturned. The apartments are large and very clean, very close to the beach and within easy access to shops. The staff at reception are truly lovely most especially lissy loco, and we became instant friends. The same applied to the owners of The Rambler, the bar almost directly opposite the complex. They made you feel part of a family plus they cook and serve fabulous English food very cheaply. If it is just a cuppa you want that's the best place in town. I have stayed at many of the islands resorts and I rate this complex number one for location, cleanliness, and overall quality. I found Travel Republic the easiest and most straightforward site to deal with and will continue using them (when my piggy bank fills up again) they make booking and flight arrangements that are not complicated and have a good range of accommadation to choose from. I would defintately return to this complex again, I recoommend it highly."
