"The apartments are situated at the top of a steep hill which is not suitable for disabled or families with push chairs."

"Had a fab week at the Bitacora hotel! I am 19 and went with a friend and we have no complaints. Our room was clean on arrival with everything we needed - clean towels and bed clothes etc, and it was then cleaned every other day to a good standard. The hotel itself had everything we needed, nice pool, internet access (1 euro for 10mins), restaurant and bar by the pool, and you can pay to use the safe in your room and reception have information on local excursions and activites- including a trip to aquapark which i can reccomend! Its a short walk to the beach, about 5/10 mins and the same to the main nightlife so it is suitable for young people wanting to go out at night, however the hotel itself is quiet at night as it isnt too close to the seafront so you can still get a good nights sleep! The staff were helpful so no problems there. So basically, had a great holiday and i would reccomend the bitacora hotel to anyone, especially young people."

"Hotel is very clean; staff are helpful and is centrally located between the lively end of Puerto del Carmen and the harbour.
