"Last year we booked the Amphora Beach 2-star hotel through yourselves and it was by far the more superior. Considering the Balear is advertised as a 3 -star we thought it would be the better choice - how wrong!
This accommodation was nothing like the hotel website - the room was dark and dingy - there was a balcony - you couldn't swing a cat on it though and there was no outlook whatsoever, the whole thing was bricked up (with fancy white stonework). The bathroom was fairly big but was ancient!! Hot water after a while but with a tendency to turn either red hot or cold in the middle of a shower. The bed was uncomfortable and was obviously old and looked like a put-u-up type thing. So on the whole, was not up to much. Only plus side was that it was clean and central.
Definitely NOT 3 star accommodation - a big con by this hotel - somebody should find out how on earth they were rated!"
