  • "Fantastic hotel, have been a frequent visitor over the last 6 years. The location of this hotel make it a perfect base for sunbathing and shopping in Palma with the ease of going into town on the bus (yes the bus!!!) in 15 mins. It is very relaxing, a great place to remove yourself from daily stresses and allow the staff to look after you - which they do very well. The refurbishment gives the hotel a completly differnet feel, however i still really like it, with the exception of the music. they used to have vioilin players at breakfast and they are no longer their and the piped music runs from 12am - 12 pm. The sound of the sea if far more appealing than the piped music =so i was glad i had my ipod - my only real criticism. Would highly recommend, but not for children."

    "Take a taxi to Port Portals for dinner, it is very cheap to get to in taxi and wide selection of restaurants to suit your budget. Across the road is Louis which is also good. Illetas is a very sleepy village that will not suit everyone, however the action/restaurants & bars are only a short taxi away."

  • "hotel location excellent, rooms lovely - recently refurbished. Only downside was hotel service - lacking somewhat for a five star - don't think they had enough staff."

  • Top Tip:

    "Found a great restaurant near hotel - can't remember name but it's up the hill from the hotel and then downhill. Restaurant sits on its own - upstairs in terrace - fab!!!"

  • "Great location if you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday. Very well equiped rooms,would recommend rooms on 5th 6th or 7th floor to enjoy the best views.Reception staff reasonably helpful but no full time concierge.Expect long delays when requesting a Taxi at peak times it can take 30 minutes or more for them to arrive.Very convenient for Palma which is a lovely city."

The hotel is situated in the residential area of Illetas, it commands a privileged position, facing the sea and offers private beach facilities. 10 minutes from the centre of Palma and the Cathedral, 4 km from the Bellver Castle, 1 km from Golf Bendinat and Puerto Portals. The hotel has completed been refurbished in new modern style, keeping its character and five star Melia service. The hotel is conveniently located nearby the beautiful sandy beaches of Illetas and Palma Nova.

Accommodation

There are 144 deluxe rooms, of which 3 are Junior Suites and 8 Grand Suites. All rooms include a terrace, equipped with air conditioning and heating, minibar, satellite TV, tea/coffee facilities, pillow and aroma menus, ergonomic working desk and chairs, bathtub and separate shower, bathrobe and slippers, hairdryer and magnifying mirror, broadband internet access (at a charge), iron and ironing board, in-room safe, direct dial telephone, 24 hr room service, daily laundry service and all rooms have recently been renovated. Interconnecting rooms are also available.

Food & Beverage

The hotel offers two restaurant and two bars. O Grille poolside buffet (lunch only), Q4 Cuatre restaurant with Q lounge, sushi bar, tepanyaki and a la carte world cuisine and show cooking, one poolside bar service and Gabi lounge with all day poolside drinks and bites.

Sports & Leisure

Seafront outdoor pool with generous sundeck, outdoor pool (adults only) on Gabi lounge sundeck, open air whirlpool with sea view, Balinese beds with drinks and pool service, small private sandy beach, tennis courts. The hotel features its new YHI Spa with a wide range of wellness and beauty treatments. Nearby water sports and the Royal Bendinat golf course can be found.
