"I was a little disappointed to find that the balcony doors did not lock therefor, as I was travelling alone I didn't feel very safe at night. I had to clean the appartment myself and did not have my bedding or towels changed. I also was told by a friend that works near there that he was shocked I was able to book at this particular hotel as they were about to be closed by the authorities due to outstanding bills. Sure enough, on 16/09 I was informed by letter that the hotel was closing immediately and I would have to pack and move everything just four days into my holiday. In the end I had a wonderful holiday I just think it's a shame I wasn't informed before hand if the locals knew it was going to close down already."
Top Tip:
"Taboo is great on a weekend night. Also if you can go when the fiestas of El Medano or Los Abrigos are on they're well worth attending!"Green Park Apartments check-in Date:

"The appartments were the worst i have ever stayed in the furniture was
diabolical and it was that close to the airport we may as well of slept on the runway!!!
it wasnt close to anythink you definatly need a car to stay there!!!

"The apartment was clean and spacious with a view of the pool.
Drawbacks:
No kettle supplied
No toaster supplied
The time we arrived at the appartment (late evening) all shops were shut so could'nt get any supplies ie coffee,tea, bread. (starter pack would have been greatly appreciated)."Top Tip:

"The Apartments were cheap but we had to change rooms on the first day as the bath was unusable, kitchen cupboard doors and wardrobe doors were falling off, and wind was whistling through the patio door. The 2nd room we had was much better. The children's pool was very dirty, the second pool wasn't too bad and the large swimming pool was icy cold with broken covers over the drainage guttering around the pool. The food was ok most of the time but on a couple of nights it wasn't so good."

"There are some lovely restaurants in Golf del sur, especially the Japanese Tapanyaki called Sekura which is overlooking the sea."Green Park Apartments check-in Date:

"The hotel was very basic but clean. It was very much a case of 'you get what you pay for' but was fine for us. The walls were a bit thin and the beds weren't the comfiest but there was always plenty of hot water and the rooms were cleaned every 2 days. One of the major problems was the fact the pool area was always very windy and cold so there was never a good sunbathing spot! The location was fine but San Blas was a good 15-20min walk away."
Top Tip:
"The pool at the Golf Plaza hotel was lovely. Gulliver's Grill (and sister Tapas restaurant) in San Blas served lovely food. Go to the Los Abrigos fish restaurant at the harbour for a great meal that was actually ran by Spanish people!"Green Park Apartments check-in Date:
