  • "Hotel very good, food very hit and miss, had to eat out twice.
    We think the staffing levels where very low probably because of a budget but that should not affect the quality! View very good and rooms spotless.
    Reception very good. Overall a good holiday."

    "Night good, sea front good, my wife is a Singer in the UK and found plenty of places offering her work so that should tell anyone the entertainment is there."

  • "We had a great time at the Arona Gran. The accommodation, facilities, staff and its location were excellent. We fully intend to return."

    "The beach was at the hotel's back door, and there were numerous restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. You may be interested to note that there was also a very good Sunday market close by."

  • "the hotel was great ... a few niggles (some staff were surly and if you go to eat after 9pm finding a table is difficult as they are setting up the breakfast tables for the following day). the room was great but i had to request and pay extra for another room as the original room I was given was just off reception and my experience at different hotels was that these could be noisy!!! So upgrade your room if poss.
    the hotel was wonderfully clean..... yes - you do have the older generation running to get their fav spot by the pools at 8am - which is amusing!!
    food was great ... plenty and lots of options .....some days bucks fizz for breakfast!!"

  • Top Tip:

    "i applied for their 'spring hotels club card' which i got and used at the end of my stay ... it gave me 15% off my bar and food bill. This also gave you added benefits if you book with them again.
    the poolside snack bar is good ... not that expensive as when I ate at lunch in the main area of los christianos the food was the same price and not so nice.
    Get up early on the sunday ... it is market day and it is next to the hotel
    Yes - u do get some noise from local ferries but it is generally no problem
    When requesting a room - some of the rooms are staggered - and do not receive any sun at any time of the day ... ie) room 431 so check when u get there."
