"The Hotel Bahia Flamingo is a lovely hotel. The staff are lovely. It is very peaceful. Not far to the supermarket and just a short walk to a couple of lively bars and also a sports bar. The food was just o.k but there was a new chef on the last 2 days and the food was a bit better. There are no snacks on offer between 3.30 and 6.30 even though the hotel advertises that there is. The hotel also advertises that the bar is open until 12 midnight but it closed at 11pm every night. Only some of the patio windows have the warning stickers on, my friend walked into them on 2 occasions, not realising they were closed, an accident waiting to happen. If these minor things were amended, it would be great."

"This Hotel needs to take a really good look at itself,no entertainment day or night defeats the object of going all inclusive (or maybe that is their aim ?).There is a tennis court/5 a side football pitch round the back of it that never got used (no tennis equipment was available to hire). The hotel also seems to be very under-staffed (the bar-person had to do duties in the restaurant aswell as serving at the bar).
Locally there is a limited number of shops/bars (the best of which we found to be pilgrims diner, which had good food and a selection of tv channels).Highland Paddy bar also has karaoke and is open until 3-15am.
The Black sand beach is in walking distance of the hotel.
The rooms are ok and are cleaned every day.
The food was ok for 3 star.
At 11pm the shutters go up on the poolside bar and thats your lot,the idea is when this bar closes the 1 in reception is supposed to open but this didnt happen (probably due to lack of staff again).
In reception there is a stage and seating that never got used."

"The rooms were very small and the food was terrible ended up eating out every night after the 2nd night but the hotel was kept clean. The evening shows were very ordinary - need some life. The hotel was more like a 2 Star than 3 star."

"Been before, knew what to expect"
