  • "First visited the Bonanza hotel in 1992 and we visit this area of Tenerife quite regularly. .
    The hotel has been refurbished and is kept to a good standard.
    The Studios are of good size and include :- fridge,toaster, electric kettle and 2 gas rings. Sheets and towels changed on a regular basis.
    Ample seating in and around the pool area."

  • "hotel basic but very acceptable,don't eat in hotels so could not comment on food,drinks reasonable.good size pool,quiet when we were there in june which was a bonus.overall great value for money."

  • "we had a problem when we arrived, we had booked pool view rooms and the manager said that was only a request, however we paid for the pool view, In the end we got the pool view, but oly after having a lenghty debate!"

  • "bar not open til 20:30 and pool area inadequate. No entertainment. food was of a poor standard and tables weren`t laid at breakfast. Hotel room was clean but basic, having a fridge was a bonus."

Official Rating - 3* - Self Catering / Bed & Breakfast / Half Board

The Bonanza is in an excellent position, quiet surroundings, yet close to the resort centre, the beach, as well as the grand water theme park Siam Park and the local mainline bus station . The Bonanza is a very well known complex and lots of guests return here each year for their holidays in Tenerife.

Accommodation

The aparthotel consists of 139 units (studios and apartments). The studios and apartments are cosy and comfortably furnished and all face south therefore enjoying sunshine for the best part of the day. All units have been recently refurbished and dispose of a fully equipped kitchenette with fridge and 2 rings with toaster, kettle, coffee machine, bathroom, bath with handheld shower and direct dial telephone, safe and TV for rent (in room), with balcony or terrace overlooking the garden or pool. Baby cots are available on request and will count as one person in the room and not in addition to the maximum occupancy. Cleaning 5 x week, change of linen 2 x week, change of towels 3 x week.

Food & Beverage

The Bonanza disposes of a pleasant restaurant with nice outdoor sitting terrace serving buffet breakfast and meals (with show cooking), a pool bar serving drinks and all sorts of light snacks during daytime. Plenty of bars and restaurants are available nearby.

Sports & Leisure

Amongst the hotel facilities and services is an outdoor fresh water pool (heated in winter) with children’s section, children’s playground, sun terrace with umbrellas and sun beds (free of charge); mattresses, table tennis, internet corner and pool table are payable locally. There is also a new beach volleyball court and petanca Some activities are with local charge. Nearby: Golf Las Americas about 900 m to the club house, water sport facilities nearby on the beach.

Useful Information on Distances

Please note; this property may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties due to the number of steps leading to the pool (however can be reached through the restaurant). Distance from bus station 200 m , distance from Tenerife South Airport is approximately 20 km and Tenerife North airport is 90 km , distance from Los Cristianos Harbour about 2 - 3 km.
