"Not bad at all. I read a few reviews on this place and thought it would be one of the best for it's price range. Basically in does what it says on the tin, basic room/apartment, friendly and helpful staff, room cleaned often. It's exactly what I was expecting after reading reviews. Ideal for people who spend most of their time out of the hotel or lazing by the pool. Short 5 min walk to beach and shops / restaurants."

"had a fantastic stay at the caribe! staff were all really friendly and rooms were spotless would definetely go back again :-) had a good laugh with a lot of the guests round the pool n was only a 5 min walk from the centre of las americas. Probably would say better for adults rather than families but only cos didnt really see any children on our stay there! Las americas was a great place and the caribe great apartments!! fab holiday all round :-)"

"I went away at the end of September 2008 with 7 other lads, all aged between 18 & 24. We stayed at the Caribe apartments for 10 nights, costing just £9 per night !! Obviously at these prices our expectations weren't very high, all we really wanted was somewhere to sleep/shower/change.
The hotel was really good. It was cleaned regularly, well maintained, had a nice view of the sea/swimming pool/tennis courts from the balcony. Kitchen was very basic, but we had never intended to use it anyway. The pool wasn't too small and there were plenty of sunbeds available (although we did go during the quieter season). The food & bar at the hotel were ok but we spent very little time eating or drinking there.
The hotel was in a very good location for us, 5-10 min walk from both the beach and the main strip.
Because of the price & location of this hotel it seems to attract the younger groups that end up coming back to the hotel worse for wear at all hours of the morning making a bit of a racket (not saying that we weren't guilty either !!)
I would definitely recommend this hotel for people looking to party on a budget (nightlife was quiet when we went though, would be better in August we were told). For families I would probably avoid this hotel in high season but would definitely consider it any other time of the year."

"The hotel was basic & clean but i found the staff very unhelpful as we had some young people either side of our room who came in at all hours drunk banging on all the doors as they had forgotten where they were staying. When we complained to reception we was told to dial 9 on the telephone & someone would come & check which they did not do.
Linekers bar & Veronicas etc... are good bars if you want to be getting drunk as they offer 2 drinks per person & 2 shots of your choice for around 12 euros a time but only if a member of staff takes you in personally."
