The hotel was built in 1902 and renovated in 2004. It consists of a total of 188 rooms over 6 floors, of which 20 are suites and 168 are doubles. The amenities include a bar, an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area and an Internet terminal. The hotel also offers a laundry and room service.

"1st class hotel and service."

"The hotel reception staff could not do any more for us having given us a room which still had somones luggage in it. We returned to reception and when informed they could not apologise enough and gave us an upgraded room which was excellent service.
Using the bar at the hotel, however, was a different story. Adam the manager we felt was quite rude and did not act at all when we pointed out we had been made to wait for a table quite unneccesarily. They were not aware we were patrons of the hotel and felt this made a lot of difference!! We should really have brought it to someones attention, but we really just wanted a relaxing weekend. We hope this action does not repeat for other bar users!
The following morning a staff member (who was obviously keen) cleared our breakfast table after we had only eaten one course! Again, no apologies but she did re set the table but had to be asked for cutlery and napkins!!"
