Property Summary

The apartments are located in a castle-like building from the Middle Ages. The building includes a 6-storey wing as well as a 3-storey neighbouring wing. It offers a total of 16 comfortable apartments as well as a lobby with a cloakroom. In addition, guests will find a traditional English pub in the building. Furthermore, there is a laundry service available. The check-in is at the reception (6 Queen Street, Edinburgh, EH2 1JE). Please be careful that it is the reception at this address that guests go to and the opening hours are: 8 am - 10 pm. There is an emergency number that guests can call at any time if there is an emergency. For guests who want to check in after 10pm there are key safes with maps an keys allowing the guests to check-in for themselves. Bed linen and hand towels are provided. Due to the layout of the city, guests may be required to climb a number of steps to reach their accommodation. Guests who have mobility problems are kindly asked to inform the hotel prior to arrival. Each apartment is decorated in its own unique style. All bedrooms have comfortable beds with linen and towels provided. Bathrooms are private and fitted with a powerful shower and bath. Fully fitted kitchens include utensils, toaster, oven, microwave and washing machine. A welcome pack is also provided on arrival consisting of cereal, milk, tea and coffee. The apartments all have a comfortable lounge with TV and DVD player. Many apartments have additional futon beds for extra guests. Business Facilities, some properties have complimentary WIFI while Internet, telephone, fax and safe are all available at our central office. These services may incur additional charges.

Location

From Edinburgh Airport to Queen Street: take East Field Road when leaving the airport and follow the signs for the city centre/Edinburgh Zoo. When reaching the end of Eastfield Road turn left onto the A8. Go across Drumbrae Roundabout and then turn right on the Roseburn Terrace. Carry straight on and turn left into Haymarket. Following this turn left onto South Charlotte Street (A90) which becomes Charlotte Square and then North Charlotte Street and then a right onto Albyn Place, and turn left into Queen Street. The hotel is at number 6 Queen Street (opposite end) on the right hand side. From the airport by bus: the airport bus departs every 15 minutes and takes guests to Waverly Bridge terminus. It is roughly a 10 minute walk from here.
