"Very nice hotel with lovely established gardens which set it apart from the other hotels nearby.
Our only gripe was lack of tea making facilities in the room which seems to be a feature of Taba (tho not Sharm) and no bath in our room.

We had a sea view room which was lovely although my request for few stairs because of my aged mother was ignored and we were put on the third floor with no lift."

"hotel was lovely but not quite five star as indicated. the food was OK and sometimes very good but the wine and beer were prohibitively expensive. Because of this not many people sat out at night even though entertainment was provided.we will go again but unless they drop the price of drinks or perhaps offer some package we will simply not buy any in the hotel. the hygiene standards were excellent for egypt and neither of us suffered tummy bugs which we have done previously in egypt. it was disappointing to find that the a la carte restaurants allowed smoking and the lobby area always smelled of smoke. the pools, beach and walking paths were delightful and all of the staff were wonderful."

"the beach and snorkelling piers were superb."

"Excellent hotel. Great for children and grown-ups alike as there are numerous swimming pools, some adult only and a lap pool for serious swimmers."
Top Tip:
"Unfortunately, there is not a much of anything near the hotel. However there is a Mini Market a 10 minute shuttle bus away and hotel facilities are quite comprehensive."

"While we were there on the second night the taps stopped working, my husband was in the shower at the time. The hotel supplied us with 2 bottles of water so he could at least get the soap suds off. We also kept on having power cuts, they didn't last very long, 30 seconds if that, but while there were matches in the room, there aren't any candles. I've stayed at this hotel 4 times before and never had these problem before, and we didn't let it get to us and spoil our holiday.

The hotel is perfect if you just want to relax and do nothing, as there isn't much entertainment, or much going on in the resort."

"Fantastic hotel, we have been to the Hyatt Regency twice and will be returning next March. Every employee at this hotel did their upmost to ensure that we had a fantastic holiday. Perfect location, beach fantastic, weather perfect.

The only negative was the price of the wine £55 bottle but that was the same price as all the other hotels in the area, after all it is a islamic country so we should accept that."
Top Tip:
"Take walking shoes, some fantastic places nearby to explore. Obviously you need snorkling gear, the coral and sea life to good to miss."

"Internet charges are extortionate. Suggest you try the "village" internet cafe instead"

"Huge hotel complex and not a lot else. Even the local "village" is run by the hotels. The rooms are large and quite well equipped. Buffet for breakfast and lunch would suit most people but was a bit of a bunfight for us. Swimming pools are lovely.
Was disappointed that the staff had not taken on board our request for no smoking twin room. Room was made no smoking by removing the ashtrays!!"
Top Tip:
"The local water world was good. Had an excellent day boat trip from there with snorkelling and chance to try diving."
