"The hotel was very clean and the staff were hospitable. The rooms were a big size and very comfortable.
It is a taxi ride away from the Medina but if you go during hot weather, the pool more than makes up for this."

"Hotel in a great location very nice, friendly, great swimming pool, room basic but clean and comfortable, bathroom a bit grim but OK
Breakfast is a bit disappointing lots of sweet pastries and not a deal of anything else especially if you are at the later end of the breakfast time, they don't rush to refill"
Top Tip:
"We walked everywhere and avoided the haggle with the taxis but if you use the little taxis agree the 20 - 40MDH before getting in
Crossing roads, take your life in your handa and beware of the bikes too

DO NOT TAKE £ Traveller cheques as no one will cash them except banks and you can que for up to 40 minutes"

"Make sure you can speak french or Arabic, as they do not understand english...
At the moment there is a hotel being built right next doors so there is a lot of noise...
Its not a 4* at all theres no mini bar in the rooms and there is an iorn but they refuse to let you use it but just kick up a fuss, as they want you to pay to get your ironing done...

breakfast is very basic and boring and its the same everyday, maybe one style of bread may change oneday..."

"The room was nice, the pool was nice didn't quite like the food but there were restaurants nearby. The hotel was in a good location but the t.v had no english channels, otherwise a very nice hotel."

"A nice restaurant round the corner from the hotel it was an outdoor resturant with a great atmosphere."

"Hotel is certainly nothing special but there was also nothing much wrong with it. I liked the location, not far to the medina with lots of shops and restaurants nearby."
Top Tip:
"Excellent French restaurant in a walled garden which I can't remember the name of but it's in the next street. You can see it to the right of the pool as you look down from the hotel roof."

Hotel Details - Imperial Holiday Hotel

If you want to stay in a comfortable hotel with all the facilities you should expect from a good 4-star hotel with a great location then you should stay at the Imperial Holiday hotel. It is located in the lively area of Gueliz and the 114 bedrooms are rather big with air conditioning, telephone, television with satellite channels, safe, modem connection, private balconies, bath tubs with shower and hairdryer in every bathroom. The hotel also has a terrace on the roof, which gives you a fantastic panoramic view of Marrakech and if it is very hot then you can have a dip in the swimming pool to cool down. Some themed evenings such as "barbecue evening", "Moroccan evening" are organized every week for the guests to enjoy different cuisines every day. Also after a long day sightseeing around Marrakech and its surroundings, guests can unwind with a relaxing drink at the bar of the hotel. A great place to stay!
