"Hotel Ionia is very clean and adequate, it doesn't constitute luxurious but in terms of value for money it is excellent. Rooms are a reasonable size and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It is a short walk from the harbour / port front, so well located too but as the town is on an incline it's a bit of climb home. Breakfast again was adequate but nothing special -the usual continental spread of bread, cheese, boiled eggs, biscuits, cereal, fruit and yoghurt. We were in one of the top floor rooms and had a stunning view over the bay, unfortunately because of the weather the pool was closed so we didn't get opportunity try that out! I would recommend it to friend and family for a budget holiday in a beautiful part of the world"
Top Tip:
"We found the meals where we ate at the proper restaurants on the harbour front were expensive and not particularly good value, however the take away giros and the greek eateries under the big tree were excellent - great value, really friendly service."

"Pool not always available. Staff very helpful. Church bell ringing every half hour took some getting used to. No instructions on air conditioner. TV in room is Greek only. Skopelos can be difficult or impossible to leave in bad weather (no ferries)."
Top Tip:
"Alexanders and Peripathos on outskirts of town excellent tavernas."

The impeccable service and traditional hospitality will make holidays at Ionia hotel unforgettable. This very cosy hotel lies in the heart of Skopelos town where one can feel the magic of Greece.

Accommodation

The hotel has 47 rooms all of which are fully equipped with spacious verandas, bathroom, air conditioning, fridge and TV.

Facilities & Services

The hotel offers a breakfast room, a restaurant and a snack bar. Other facilities on offer are a TV lounge, swimming pool and private parking space.

Flight & Transfer Information

Skopelos Island does not have its own airport, therefore guests need to fly to Skiathos and get the ferry/hydrafoil. The port is approx 15 minutes from Skiathos Airport. The crossing is approx 45 minutes on the flying dolphin and 1 and a half hours by ferry. During low season (May - Jun) the ferry operates between 0930 & 1730 and high season (Jul - Sep) 0730 - 2100. Please note: These times may be subject to change; the cost of the ferry boat is not included and must be paid locally.
