"hotel is in a good location close to a supermarket, kiosk, restaurants, bars etc. The pool has bar and small garden area and is popular with hotel residents and it's also open to locals therefore is quite busy especially at weekends. Beach is nearby about 500m away just a few minutes walk. There is an internet cafe on the corner of the road about 200m away which was cheap and very useful for internet access. The hotel was set just off the main tourist road and so quiet from traffic. The room was fairly simple but clean and had air-conditioning which is a must in such hot weather. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend Cyprus for holiday."
Top Tip:
"I can recommend the internet cafe on the corner, The Woodman Pub and The Surf & Sun Bar very close to the hotel on the main road. Pizza Hut is across the road.
I would also recommend purchasing a local SIM card for calling home these are available in kiosks all over. This is a much better option for cheap calls and texts. The telephone comany MTN also have holiday SIM card packs for 30 days available for purchase. I would recommend hiring a car for travelling to other towns/villages etc as they're only around 40mins - 1hr drive away and worth visiting. I would also like to mention that there are many excursions available to visit Egypt while you're there and the opportunity is well worth investing in giving 2 holidays in 1."Jasmine and Hotel check-in Date:

"Our only complaint about our meals (3 courses) were the portions were too big
especialy for the kids which we felt guilty leaving. The chef at the Jasmin is brilliant
and each meal was well presented.(i know im a chef myself)
On our last night we went down for dinner only to be told that we were not
entitled to it which we were as we only had 13 out of 14 after argueing my case they reluctently relented. So just a word of warning to anyone going it did finish our otherwise pleasant stay at the jasmine with a bitter end."Top Tip:
"The Highlander bar with its 2 yorkshire lassies(CANDY&SOPHIE)is a must friendly & chatty and cheap with tasty snacks. Also the Irish bar Welcome inn the owner name

"Pool area nice however hotel rooms are grubby and in desperate need of a make over. We had a horrid little studio room which had carpet on the floor which had possibly never been cleaned and a dirty little two seater. Having only paid £150 for the week perhaps you get what you pay for but we'd defiantely not go back. Pool snack bar was really expensive. 2.57 euro for a can of coke !!!"
Top Tip:
"There is a gorgeous very modern and opulent bar/restaurant named The Brewery which doesnt sound glam but it def worth a visit. Cool Cabana seating outside. The food and cocktails are fantastic, so much so we visited twice in a week. Its in the middle of the resort beside the Hagen Das cafe. Opps also the Calcutta Indian restaurant is fantastic doesnt look much from outside but is spotless and the food is delicious. Its on the main road too near to Pizza Hut (leave Pizza Hut and turn left its 1 min walk on the same side of the road) Pop in to Chillin Bar almost right next door its gorgeous !!"Jasmine and Hotel check-in Date:

"We have been staying at Jasmine for 14 years. We go self catering partly because we like to please ourselves and partly because we know that Jasmine food is not good. The general decor is getting tired. There was only one maid servicing all the bedrooms and we had to ask for clean sheets and towels halfway through our holiday. Nevertheless we like the hotel, its position and the garden and intend to return next year."
Top Tip:

"We have stayed at Jasmine Hotel 14 times. We like the staff, location and the standards. We don't normally eat in their restaurant as they are very much in the half board market with costs cut to a minimum - we book an apartment only."

"Description stated that all rooms had balconies but I was given a small room with only 2 small opening windows and no balcony. Extra charge of CYP£3 per day for A/C. Did eventually get moved to a decent room with balcony after alot of fuss. Would advise anyone booking this hotel to get confirmation that they will have a room with balcony."

"the hotel room was dirty, there was food bits in the fridge from the last guests, spoilt our holiday.. the room needed a complete decorate, stale food on the balcony,, a sweet on the floor near the bed was there the whole fortnight we were there left fom previous guests , worst hotel iv stayed in???"

"It would not be fair to say my stay was terrible because we only stayed for 1 night, I booked 2(in my name) rooms as we were travelling with another couple but the hotel receptionist could not understand why the other couple had a different name. it took about 45 mins to check in. The room was adequate for a 1 night stay but I would not have wanted to stay any longer"

"Our room was facing a main road which was quite noisy at night, we also had no balcony, even though there was air conditioning the room was really hot and we felt closed in,we couldn't keep the windows open as the airconditioning wouldnt work if the windows were open.
Also on arrival the window latches were broken, which they did fix. We did ask to change rooms, on several occassions but was told we couldnt . Staff were friendly pool area was clean. For what we paid for the acommadation i dont think it was that bad although i wouldnt stay there again."Top Tip:
"the best beach to go is up by the King Richard hotel, sandy in and out of the water, unlike the rest of the beaches which were pebbly.
