"Great hotel but the beds were really hard! Otherwise fantastic and glad we stayed in this part of town rather than further up in the 'tourist area'. Very clean, very friendly, breakfast fine, pools looked good, nice hotel."

"Lovely hotel (posh) with a high standard of food and extremely clean.
Drinks prices not too bad. Excellent helpful and friendly staff. Only downside was the lack of evening entertainment as promised in the hotel information.

I wouldn't recommend it to young people as it was in the quiet part of Limassol - not much to do in the evenings.

There were two main problems however.
1. One of my party was not allowed to eat in the restaurant as he had no long trousers to wear. This requirement SHOULD be stated when booking to avoid embarrassment.
2. The main road is SO noisy at night with cars and motorbikes revving up, racing and the screeching of brakes. This continues until about 4.00 in the morning. It is a real problem in the town. My tip is to turn the air conditioning to full - the hum in the room muffles the noise outside."

"we stayed at the kanika pantheon hotel for a week and the standard of hotel is very good. when i booked the hotel i paid for a side sea view yet when we arrived at the hotel we were given a 1st floor room as this was where the family rooms were and it was not possible to get a sea view in a family room. luckily we had my partners mum with so we asked if we could have a sea view room but put one of my children in with granny which the hotel agreed with. at meal times there was no childrens buffet only adult but there was a seperate childrens menu, my kids are 4 years and 18 months, which cost extra. there was no way i was paying extra when i had already paid half board. next there is no childrens entertainment yet the hotel is advertised as having. there is entertainment in the dining room in the evening, singing and live music but is more for older people. the food has a good variety with a different theme every night but all tastes the same no matter what night it is, needs more flavour. the staff are brilliant, will do anthing to help. one of them told me that the hotel more caters for business people rather than toursts now, this explains alot. this hotel would be really good if you were an older couple but for younger couples and people with children, this hotel is definately a no no, nothing to do except go in the pool."

"The Hotel staff were very helpful nothing was too much trouble.
The rooms are basic but this was my second visit to this establishment and the Management now supply items to the resident i.e slippers /kettle the tea & coffee was supplied on daily basis.
The facilities were very good and open to both the residents and the public.
I still feel that you get value for your money by staying at this Hotel."

"Staff very friendly and helpful, room was clean and of a good size.
My only complaint would be that it's difficult to escape the "Muzak"
Even one of the two (slightly chilly) outside pools had piped music playing from breakfast onward..."

"The hotel was very well presented in the communal areas - reception, restaurants, bar and the double (triple including kids pool) swimming pool area. Great quality and helpful staff. We were booked on a BB basis, and the breakfast was of very good quality. Our room itself was comfortable with a side sea view that also overlooked the pool area, but the room itself looked a bit tired. Nothing a lick of paint and a few new furnishings wouldn't have sorted though."
