"Very central, in nice position, not far from shops, restaurants and beach only a short walk away. Very handy supermarket right next to hotel entrance. Bus stops are just outside.
Hotel staff very friendly and rooms adequate.

"Perfectly clean, well maintained if slightly dated 3 star tourist class hotel.
Going back next year is all i need say."Top Tip:
"1. Dont pay 13Euro to see the fountain show. Go up to third floor of the hotel, through the fire escape door, up the stairs to the roof. There you have a perfect view. Dont worry there is a barrier, you cant fall!
2. Upgrade your room directly with the hotel. Its normally £10 a night extra. Well worth it. You`ll get kettle, fridge, and a room and balcony almost twice the size of the standard room."Kapetanios Bay Hotel check-in Date:

"Food at the Kapetanios is of excellent standard. Although they could replenish more towards the end of serving time as some items ran out half way through the service.

"Hotel is a older but very clean, staff very polite. We were there with our 1 yr old daughter and found everything in the hotel suitable and child friendly. The beach is few minute walk. It is ok, but we have found Fig Tree Bay beach better and cleaner. And it is only 15 min walk.
Hotel is on the main street, we have had room overlooking the pool, so there was not loud music. Probably, the other side is more loud!
Everything during our stay at Protaras was above expectation, only little dissapointment from the representative. I called her prior to our departure (as advised from her) to confirm our transfer and the flight and she was not cooperative at all!!! She told me I should have attend the meeting with her where everything was nicley explained. And the meeting was at 4.45 pm, at the most unconvenient time for us.
As for me, person from travel industry background, the meeting always set up after breakfast or before supper. Then you can find and expect majority of your guests to attend."Top Tip:

"Being close to the Magic Water Show means loud music between 9.00pm and 10.00pm if you are not poolside view. The noise is compounded by the adjacent Square Bar which at its worst went on to 1.00am. If you like your sleep you need to insist on a pool view or you will be going to bed late!! Food in restaurant is varied and plentiful biu no hot plates at breakfast. Hotel is very clean and reception area very comfortable.Would return but on opposite side of hotel.

"I have to admit I read the reviews before I went and to be honest I was alittle concerned about what I had booked, but I need not have worried, the hotel was clean and comfortable. the breakfasts were delicious, could not fault it. we went for a chilled out holiday and that is exactly what we got, plenty of sea sand and sun."

"Hotel is excellent location for all amenities. Rooms are clean and the food is good and varied. It was our first time in protaras and we will definately return. Also a mention to Travel Republic who we have used on nearly all of our holidays as flights, accomodation and transfers are all fuss free and cheaper than high street and tour operator prices."

"the hotel is right beside the madonalds our room looked out right through the giant M in the front of macdonalds also right across from the talk of the town,the show was realy good but the area was a little noisey untill about 2 in the morning

"Very helpful staff the first room I had was vey nice but looking into the side of MacDonalds I asked for a change and this was done after 2 nights. The 2nd room was on the 3rd floor and had a nice view"

"This hotel is good value for money. We booked a family room and were put in the sefl catering apartments located right next door to the hotel. The rooms are dated, but are kept spotlessly clean. Our family room was actually a large room with 2 single beds, kitechette and dining table with patio doord onto a small balcony and a separate double bedroom - so there is plenty of room."

"Restaurants offer similar menus wherever you go. However, if you can get into Ayia Napa - head for the Clarabel restaurant and try the flambe. It is to die for! "Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Nice cool sweet smelling lobby area, comforably furnished. superior rooms,,better than the regular ones, they have a fridge, and bigger bathrooms. Nice that the hotel offers a room after you vacate your own room to be used for showers etc, especially if your flight is not until late at night, and this without extra charge. Although we were on half board, we ate out a lot. We thought that breakfast should be available until 10am, but that's a minor complaint. All in all very good value for money."

"Can throughly recommend the Fig Tree Bay Cafe Restaurant. Easy free parking, GREAT STAFF, VERY ATTENTIVE,good value for money too. Delightful views of the bay from the dining terrace during the day, and quiet and romantic at night. We kept going back there, and took 6 members of our family there for dinner on one occasion. If you go there for breakfast order the fresh orange juice. My partner said they were the best eggs he'd tasted in a long while. Lovely lovely people.
