"No cleaning took place at all, the sheets were only changed on day 12 of a 14 day holiday, the ladies of the night use the stairwell for sucky sucky twenty euros!!"

"even though this was a 1 star apartment i did not expect to be eaten alive whilst in bed along with everyone else in out group and another group of people we met staying in the Kensington. I can only suggest the beds had fleas...

Also i would have expected the owner to learn at least some basic english if she is going going to run appartmentments which are to be occupied by mostly english people. Because of this there was some confussion about how long we could keep our room on for where she got very angry and threatened to call the police.

never staying here again and wouldnt recommend it either."

"You may not put this on your site becasue it is quite critical. critical though it may be, it gives a more realistic view of what happens when things go wrong. i ask you to put this on your website so that people know what they shoul expect if the worst comes to the worst

ok firstly the positives, its in the middle between Palma Nova beach and Magaluf beach which are both very nice beaches. Its idealy situated next to the Magaluf Strip and ideally situated next to the MCP, and not far from the BCM

Now the appartment. It was basic, there were no proper cooking utensils, such as a sharp knife or a sieve, or a chopping board.the toaster was filthy, the cutlery not much better and the kettle blew a fuse when we tried to put it on.
The nights were baking hot, and to combat this we kept the door open, and as a result we were bitten. i was bitten 30plus times during my stay!
On the second night our door would n ot open, we went to see the landlord thinking she could help. litte did we know she would hurl abuse at us, speak rapid spanish and give us the finger before slamming the door. not being able to get a word in edgeways we knocked again and she rapidly opened the door brandishing a truncheon which she raised at us!
She didnt open the door nor did she do anything to help us, so we had to spend the night outside, until 7am, when we tried again. again she did nothing.

If your door or anything goes wrong, do not tell the landlady she cannot speak english, nor will she care. she took a 20euro deposit off us each, and didnt give us our money back even though nothing was broken and we had fixed the door, as well as a few drawers and the toliet (which were broken on arrival but we fixed because we wanted out deposit back)."

"AMAZING!!! really good location, 10 seconds from one beach, 20 from the other. not too noisey of a nighttime which you would expect from the location. Bang next to the strip of bars (but again not too loud) has a balcony overlooking the beachwhich is nice and cool in the evenings. no air-con so tis very VERY hot in the afternoon, but so worth it. PERFECT value for money. the owners are soooooooooo nice, but dont speak a lot of english, would be VERY useful if you can at least understand spanish."

"Just returned back (9/6/08) from a lads weekend. Wasn't expecting much for £11 a night each (three rooms of three). But i have to say i was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were basic, but clean and tidy and for a boozy weekend they were bang on. They're situated right in the thick of the action, so i was expecting a lot of noise. However i slept like a baby every night (could have been the alcohol). If you're after a cheap lads weekend, Kensington apartments are just the ticket."

"The apartment was in a really good location.1 minute to the beach, above a supermarket and right by numerous restaurants and shops which made up for its shortfalls. Although shabby in decor and Ants invading every room the worst aspect of this building is the first ,third and fourth floor are home to immigrants who have no regard for holiday makers shouting to each other from balconies late evening and at 6-30 in the morning. I guess in the high season when the resort is rowdy the noise is not a problem. I booked this holiday and even my two sons aged 23 and 25 were glad to come home I will always use Travel Republic as the flights, transfers and service you provide is brilliant."
