"The hotel staff were friendly and polite. The hotel is only about 1 km from the beach but it seems a lot longer as it is down residental roads and an even longer walk up a very steep hill to come back. There is a little train but as we went out of season I don't know whether this gets full - it is only every hour anyway. The food was well cooked but we were there four days and the buffet didn't change much. After trying the mediocre vegetables the first night I had salad after that (salads were good). The hotel had plenty of sun bathing areas but also plenty of steps so not suitable for very young children or the elderly. Because we went in May, the little village of Kriopigi did not have any entertainment but there was plenty of bars and restaurants. If we went again to the same area I think we would go further down the coast to resorts nearer the beach and on the flat. The room was fine and the cleaning girls did a good job each day."

"The hotel was an initial disapointment due to it,s appearance and position. I was expecting more of a four- star. The facilities and the first room we were offered didn,t meet our expectations either, -not a good start to the holiday. However, the ambiance of the place and friendliness of the staff made up for it,s shortfalls."

"I completely understand that it is nearing the end of the season in Greece now having worked in the travel industry in Halkidiki for 3 years, but the restaurant food was very limited."
