"We had orginally booked into the Larco hotel only the night before we were due to travel. When we arrived which was late at night we were greeted by unfriendly, unhelpful staff who informed us that the Larco hotel was overbooked (surely they would have known this, having only booked the night before) and we had been moved to one of their sister hotels which was around a 20 minute drive away. When we arrived at the other hotel, the staff did not even know we had been transferred to their hotel and again they were unfriendly and unhelpful. The hotel was in the middle of nowhere and it looked liked the hotel was closed, there were no lights on at all. We were pleased we had arrived late at night and made a decision to get up early the following morning and leave the horrible, disgusting, dirty, smelly hotel."

"Not the original hotel i was booked in (Larco), instead it was the Lenios, apparently room not ready at Larco. At Lenios i had to request a room with a balcony as they gave me a very small room without a balcony. When eventually given room, toilet flush had no lid and there were no towel rails in the bathroom. Management was unprofessional and when i left and handed in the key, the management and receptionist diden't even say a word to me, not even goodbye! I wouldn't go back there, Larco or Lenios."

"Some of the reviews of the Larco Hotel I read before we stayed were pretty aweful ( I read them after we had booked! ) but whilst the hotel was very tired all the staff could not have been more helpful and cheerful. For the amount we paid ( £50.00 per person for the week ) it was very adequate as a base and good value for money."

"rooms were extremly dirty my two sons and granddaughter were covered in bites from sleeping in the beds . all felt to dirty to eat there or spend any time there , the whole stay was very unpleasent which is a great shame as many of my family will be making trips often to cyprus and it would have been lovely to have found a great hotel with you in that ideal location for me"

"The hotel was scruffy. Our room had black mould around the fittings in the bathroom.There were tiles missing from the bath surround. There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling. The room was not very clean and had not been decorated for years. Everything about this hotel gives the impression of it being rundown. It is also extremely difficult to find - a detailed map would be handy with the booking confirmation."

"Bedroom and bathroom were not very clean. Otherwise very basic.

It was obvious that the hotel was undergoing renovations ie painting ect. but not a very professional job. Would not go back to this hotel."

"It was Terrible on the first day but okay after a room change, I was stuck in a dirty room with a tolilet that was damaged to the point that it was not userable.
I was at first treated like I did not count for anything. It was only after my uncle got his mother who lives not far from the hotel, and she is a Cypriot, to contact the hotel that they agreed to change my room
I would not send anyone I know to the hotel"

"the hotel room was disgusting shabby i would not recomment this hotel to my worst enemy clean towels twice a week between 3 of us i would not go back if given free im afraid the pool was the only decent thing about this hotel."
