"We both always have a great time in Spian (Fuengirola) the weather was fantastic for it being Novemeber, we had all 8 days of pure sunshine. We stayed in the Las Piramides the hotel was okay, I personally would not go back to this hotel but the rooms are very clean, but on the downside to our room, we were on the 7th floor with a partial view of the sea, at night it was very windy and you could hear the wind and the sea no problems, I can only presume that there is no double glazing in the hotel rooms. Found the hotel staff not very polite. We only stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, neither myself or wife are fusy eaters but the breakfast was not so good, just the usuall scrambled eggs bacon and some dodgy coffee or tea from a machine. So we ended up eating out every mornng but you can get a cheap breakfast in Fuengirola.
There is plenty to do around the hotel the beach is just right outside the hotel. Plus there is loads of resteraunts and shops and the bus station is not so far and it is really cheap to take the bus to different locations.
Spain is a great place to go everyone is so friendly, the Hotel is okay and would reccomenrd it only if you are looking for a very basic hotel. I would personally not book this hotel for anything less that a bed and breakfast.

"STAFF FRENDLY AND OBLIGING
ROOM CLEAN BUT COULD DO WITH REFURBISHING"

"HAD FANTASTIC TIME IN HOTEL, FOOD EXCELLENT, HAPPY HOUR EVEN BETTER 5.30 - 6.30. WILL STAY AGAIN!"

"Beds were very comfortable, breakfast - everything you could want, very clean pool, receptionists a bit miserable, located very near the beach and local restaurants."

"Hotel good, food very poor!"

"POOR SELECTION OF FOOD. VERY POOR ACCESS TO THE THE LIFTS FOR WHEELCHAIR USERS."

"Breakfast was a bit of a bun fight around the buffet. Huge cochroach in one of our rooms which was a nasty surprise."

"Lovely hotel and rooms. Food was fair with good variety. Staff were fantastic and very friendly to all especially my daughter (4yr old) as she was the only child in the hotel. Dissapointing that no drinks were aloud to be transferred from the bar to the restaurant. Gents must where long trousers which was frustrating. No facilities for younger children not even a childrens swimming pool. Entertainment was always past 10 o'clock. What you gain in paying for a 4 star you lose in a younger atmosphere. Avg age of guests is retirement."

"Las Piramides is spotlessly clean, and in a good location. The local area is on the level, so access to bars, beach and restaurants is easy for those of all ages.
The staff speak English, so there is no problem with a language barrier.
The rooms were cleaned every day, contain remotely controlled aircon, tv, [small] fridge, and a huge wardrobe. The balconies are not that large.
The drinks in the Orange Bar overlooking the reception area (with mediocre resident pianist in the evenings), are quite cheap. This is where you can relax and exchange ideas and gossip with other guests.
In the UK, this hotel would be rated 3 star."

"Hotel is very close to the beach and has a excellent pool, i have stayed at this hotel twice before and it is now starting to show its age. It needs a major upgrade.
The staff are always very good with great service but the food is not great, however for the price we paid it still worked out at very good value."

"Booked at short notes , Hotel was just as described. Breakfast ok ,Room and view great."

"Booking a triple room meant that we got a "suite" on the end of the block which had a great sea view."

"Staff helpfull. Room clean. Breakfast good choice ample selection. Hotel in need of a paint inside but this did not stop us enjoying ourself. Close to beach, not noisey so good for family. Would go back."

"Hotel looks very grand from the outside and the reception does not dissapoint. Rooms are not quite up to the same standard, a bit on the small side but they are clean and the air conditioning is free. Rooms are cleaned and towels changed every day.
Pool is nice and spotless.
Apart from the breakfast room being a bit manic we thought the breakfast was nice, there is certainly lot's to choose from. Bar staff are very friendly
Location is good, very close to the beach and close to bars and restaurants but far away enough so not to hear the noise."

"Hotel was fantastic, the page does not do it justice. Only problem is the breakfast isn`t great, but you can easily live with that. Close to the beach, shops, bars etc so fantastic location.
Suitable for families and young couples especially."

"Big pool but not shallow enough for younger children nor adults that do not know how to swim. Not many beach umbrellas. Did not like pool area. Value for money for the £75.00 we payed for half board."

"An excellent location very close to the beach/restaurants/bars but also quiet. Good spacious rooms and air conditioning that worked properly! Plenty to choose from for breakfast."

"Hotel in my opinion it is only 3star. i found that at breakfast time it was nearly always cold."

"The only comment I would make is that we had booked and paid extra for a sea view and to see the sea you had to stretch your kneck round the corner to see it !"

"this is a 2* hotel masquerading as a 4*. Cleaning of rooms left a lot to be desired . prices were astronomical. I have seen more life in a sheltered housing home."

"Very good hotel, close to the beach, bars and restaurants with out being noisy. Bar prices slightly high and breakfast area could be very busy if you picked the wrong time."
