"Hotel was excellent and very good value for money but the service in Egypt is appalling. The hotel was a bit too crowded so I think I will stick to more boutique hotels in future however I appreciate this is not an option in Luxor."

"Only fault we had with the hotel was the food. Everything else was fantastic. The staff, the room, the pool, and the view was astonishing!! "
Top Tip:
"Wear a wedding ring if your a single female - less likely to get hassle!
Also visit the Karnak night and sound show before going in the day - and then when you do go in the day - get there as early in the morning as you can. It opens at 6.30 and is beautifully quiet. Its so spectacular when its just you and the history!"

"5* hotel we loved it... nice breakfast. Worth every penny. I would recommend always to take either nile view or patio view. Some of the staffs are not very helpful.. Kirstan a Scottish girl works as a guest relation, very polite and very helpful.. Others are ok.. not always."
Top Tip:
"Walking distance to El Souk which is the local market.. you can get scarfs, ornaments and silver stuff. Don't go by horse cart when they offer lower rate,they will take you to a shop there's nothng in that shop. Always bargain.. average price for taxi or horse cart go around 10 Egypt pounds. You can go by bus for 25pence per person Egypt currency anywhere if you want. "

"If I was to be ultra critical I would say that the food was only good and the view of the Nile was impeded by three, very untidy, cruise ships (shoe boxes). These boats blocked out the sunset!"
