  • Kathryn from Winchester reviewed the Les Iles Hotel

  • "The location of the hotel was superb - beach just across the road and just outside the medina. The room was sumptuous with a large comfy bed (although very hard pillows). There was a good size pool but unfortunately it wasn't open when we stayed there. We got a great deal through travelrepublic (who are great by the way!) for half board accommodation for one night. Sadly, the evening meal was the most disappointing of our whole two week holiday. It wasn't terrible, just below what you would expect for a 4 star hotel. The bit that made me laugh the most was the dessert my husband had - orange juice with grated carrot and half a lemon in it!"

  • Top Tip:

"Most restaurants in the medina we tried were wonderful and we went a bit tagine mad. If you fancy something different for a change, we tried a french restaurant called Darbaba just off Rue Marrakech in the medina. The logo to look out for is a cartoon camel head, eating spaghetti and wearing a fez - don't let this put you off! Simple but tasty food with fresh pasta and home made desserts and not bad prices. Another french place we tried was called Les Chandeliers which was excellent but a bit more pricey if you're in the mood to treat yourself."

  • Jane from Harrogate reviewed the Les Iles Hotel

  • "Only just Okay.
The swimming pool was a huge bird bath for seagulls. The ground around the sunbeds was hosed down every morning!
Food Okay; ran out of certain items on evening menu, breakfast minimal - pancakes good.
No Brandy for night cap. Not a 4 star bar ,eratic opening.
Something not nice in the TV lounge! I think the cats used it!!
The piano bar was being refurbed and I would hope that the rest of the hotel would receive a thorough clean and attention. Internal decoration had been good in its day."

  • Top Tip:

"Fantasia Restaurant further along the beach was good.
Nice resort would go back but stay elsewhere."
