"The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Our hotel room was much smaller than it looked on the website photos and was fairly clean. We had a side room and the view was nice - THE BEACH!! Beware of the cleaning lady though; she will let herself into your room very early in the morning to clean so make sure you are awake!! There were "do not disturb" signs on the doors at the beginning of the week but then by mid-week, they had been removed from every hotel room door! Also, she makes loads of noise slamming and banging doors so there is no chance of a lie-in. The bathroom was adequate but the shower was so small - it was about a metre squared in size! Also, there was a fair bit of damp on the walls. Breakfast at the hotel was horrible so we would recommend that you find somewhere else to eat! It consisted of 1 type of processed meat, 1 type of processed cheese, bread, olives, tomatoes and cucumber, 3 types of cereal and occasionally hard boiled eggs and yoghurt. It became very, very bland and boring so on the last day we went out for a fry up at a local cafe! Also when we arrived in our hotel room, there were no tea / coffee making facilities and no hairdryer. We had to ask at reception for a kettle and cups! They would not provide tea bags / coffee or milk and we had to buy this from the local shop ourselves.

The location of the hotel is great though as it is right on the beach front and close to all the bars and restaurants. It can get a little noisy at times but you do get used to it. We are hoping to go back to Larnaca next year but think that we will try a self catering appartment instead of Les Palmiers."

"This hotel is in a great location for restaurants, bars, entertainment etc.. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning works well. The bathroom was a little on the small side but adequate. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay here again."

"Excellent sea view rooms which are highly recommended but you have to enjoy the lively nightlife of Larnaka to appreciate the noise levels at night, and they are certainly not recommended for those who want a full ten hours sleep - Larnaca wakes up as soon as it goes to bed!"

"Fair hotel could be cleaner, not swept completly during weeks stay. All staff very helpful and friendly. only a couple of minutes from the beach and all rooms with a sea view.

"This Hotel is ideally located for all amenities, and is in excellent position overlooking the beach. Only short taxi from larnaca airport. Although 2*, the accomodation is clean and very well presented, and buffet breakfast has nice selection, and overlooks onto the beach.
Staff are extremely friendly and will make that extra effort to make ones stay pleasant and enjoyable.
Would highly recommend this hotel, especially if wanting to be central to all amenities.
I personally wouldn't hesitate to use this hotel again, and will no doubt stay again on my next visit to Larnaca."

"Clean room but lacked a level of comfort. Lighting in the room non existent if you wanted to read at night, bathroom microscopic but functional, unable to block out street lighting, car park tiny and very difficult to get into off the street. Position ideal for beach and nightlife."

"The hotel is situated in a very good position. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel and we will certainly stay again. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our only criticism is, as the last time we stayed the breakfast has a poor range of food and many times we had to wait for food being re-stocked and sometimes some foods were not available. It is a shame that a very nice hotel as this has a poor record with food at breakfast."

"Although the hotel rooms are medium size, they were kept beautifully clean, the hotel was immaculate and the staff superb. We would definately stay there again, it is situated in cental Larnaca and a minutes walk from the beach, shops bars and restaurants. Our holiday was perfect. Thank you."

"The hotel had been refurbished which was great. However, the owners sold their own restaurant, which was first class and on the ground floor of the building. There is now a new cafe/wine bar with very loud music until the early hours of the morning. If you are of 'clubbing' age then this will be great, but anyone over 40 will not enjoy the noise."
