"My only criticism would be the building site next door. It was the noise of the builders that woke me in the morning with their vehicles and machinery and they were the first sight you got when you looked out, being between the hotel and the sea."

"I was a single, on business and this is great place to stay. Everyting you need and retaurants in walking distance if you need them. FElt safe too. Only 2 criticisms:

english TV - or lack off, CNN only - perhaps sky 1 or something, german and russians are well looked after

Femle staff not that friendly to me - no smiles at all and slow service, perhaps they don't like lone female travellers"

"COT beach a short 700m walk along the beach is nice. For authentic resturants and bars, a short taxi/bus ride into Larnace Town."

"The Hotel was very nice with good sized rooms.
Location on the beach was good and pool area was very nice.
We only stayed on a bed and breakfast option and found the food to be of a poor standard.
Although there was a good variety the hot buffet style food was cold."

"Hire a car and travel into Larnaca main promenade area,much more to see and do there."

"Would like to say the hotel was as great as ever, this was our 3rd time there although we were a bit upset as the room we were given was over looking the building work that is taking place at the moment, noise was not a problem but the outlook was awful, we went to reception to ask if we could be moved to a full sea view room as in this one you could only see the building work from one balcony we were told to come back in the morning to speak to Mrs Vuler which we did she moved us to another room ( full sea view) but this cost us another 312.oo Euros. which was rather a lot, if we had known the building work was taking place we would have opted for the Hotel next door The Sandy Beach thought this was rather unfair and did somewhat spoil our holiday."

"Very nice hotel and all services you would expect. Good food in the hotel. Building work right next to the hotel might annoy late sleepers this summer. Work starts around 7 am."

"We found the hotel very efficient. The staff were friendly and co-operative.
The pool-side and beach attendants were particularly pleasant and helpful with the sunbeds and sunshades.
Our one criticism was that the rooms were a bit "shabby" - they are overdue a refurbishment."

"The Oasis bar opposite the hotel showed English Football matches and offered a broadband service much cheaper and faster that the Lordos hotel internet service."

"Hotel decent enough, staff very helpful, Pools clean. The location is a bit out of the way in terms of sight seeing but ok if you want sun , sea and sand. The hotel is right on the beach which was very pleasant. The food is ok, there are plenty of decent resteraunt and bars within easy walking distance"
