"Better than I expected for a two-star hotel. Rooms small but clean, pool and other facilities very good. One adverse comment: try and make sure you have a morning flight back so that you are on your way to the airport at or before 10am: there are no options for late check-out, no spare rooms (even if you want to pay for one) and storage/changing facilities are poor - once you're checked out you're on your own!"

"The hotel is in a excellent spot just a minutes' walk from the main road where all the bars and tavernas are. The hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is very good."

"Beautiful hotel in prime location with really friendly helpful staff. Very clean hotel with lovely views."
Top Tip:
"There is an amazing restaurant next door called Nanopama and a gorgeous beach (long beach) which is 10 minutes up the road.
My top tip would be to not use Travel Republic as the service is appaulling!!
The reason being is that myself & my partner were one of the unfortunate group of people to have been travelling with Freedom flights which was a part of XL. No help was received from Travel Republic in arranging alternative flights, in fact I spent a whole day trying to get them to answer the phone on the day XL went bankrupt but to no avail and to top it all off they didn't notify our transfer of our new flight times then had the cheek to tell us to sort it out ourselves for our journey home - Now thats what you call poor customer service!!

"Hotel was of poor quality for a 2* or 3* as per the brochure descriptions. The rooms were very poorly insulated, very noisy and didn't have a fridge. The Air Conditionning was not even included and had to be paid for at the reception.
The daily staff was very unpleasant and unhelpful, especially during the problems with XL airways. We had to rely on the evening staff for useful information."Top Tip:

"Overall, the hotel wasn't that bad, very clean, however due to the basic nature of the room & facilities, we tended not to use it very much!! The breakfast was very minimal, but then this is my 17th trip to Greece & I have become accostomed to the challenges of the tourism cuisine!! We were able to have our breakfast in our room which suited us & the food was limitless.The down side to the room was that we were located at the front of the hotel on the ground floor & the music from reception started quite early, this was also the case in the evening, so not much chance of a lie-in, or a peaceful coktail on the balcony! The music "theme"continued if you tried to sit around the pool & I found this quite irritating after a while. However, the nights were very quiet."
Top Tip:
"Turning out of the hotel & heading up to the main st, there's a restaurant on the left corner (I can't remember the name), it served great BBQ food & had freshly brewed coffee!!

"This hotel alothough basic was spotless, reception and breakfast staff were friendly, good size swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers, great sea view from the pool area. This hotel is ideally located for a nice relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle and with the added benefit of only a 20 minute walk into the capital town Argostle if you want to have more entertainment in the evening. I have already recommended this hotel to my friends and family and will return."
Top Tip:
"Plenty of beaches within walking distance, range of rocky coves to long sandy beaches. Beautiful. Sirtaki and Monte Nero were our favourite restaurants with great food and service. "The hotel was exceptionally clean and most of the staff were very friendly. The pool area was particularly good. Breakfast was very adequate and just what we wanted.
Suggested improvements:
1. Fridges in the bedrooms!!!!

"the hotel grounds and pool area were very good with a relaxing atmosphere but the inside was very dated and needs urgent refurbishment especially in the bar area its was like something from the 70s overall we had an enjoyable weeks stay the rooms are very basic as is the breakfast!! and you hear peoples door banging alot. the staff were pleasant friendly and helpful."

"We decided to stay at this hotel following a strong recommendation. However, we found the hotel to be very, very basic, and we are regular travellers to Greece and understand the norm in Greece. The bedrooms and public rooms are basic and dated, the buffet breakfast was very poor. The one redeeming feature of the Hotel is the pool area which is very good, although quite a lot of the sun beds don't have any pads on them. We could not recommend this Hotel to anyone, unless they had a tight budget and want a central location."

"pool tended to be a bit overcrowded (people putting towels down and not returning), but otherwise very good. Rooms cleaned every day with regular towel and linen changes. Excellent location."

"We thought the management and staff of Hotel Lorenzo were excellent and went out of their way to helpful. The breakfast was basic but very good. The atmosphere of the whole hotel was great. We would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and relatives."

"Excellent staff with maid service daily, asked for a sea view which we were pleasantly surprised we got. All greek restaurants along the "strip" were extremely helpful and gratuitous. Will return same time next year and hopefully have same room 309."

Hotel Details - Lorenzo Hotel
The hotel Lorenzo is built in Lassi an area near the Capital city, Argostoli, with a view of the gulf of Argostoli. The family atmosphere, the beauty of the area and the friendly staff will surely make guests holiday a real pleasure. The hotel set away from the main road in quiet surroundings it is only 300m to the sandy beach.
Accommodation
All of the rooms within the hotel have air conditioning (payable locally), safety deposit box, direct dial telephone and balcony or terrace. All of the rooms are with balconies and offer a beautiful sea view of the Ionian-sea and the town of Lixouri or the picturesque hill of Argostoli.
Food & Beverage
Guests can have drinks at the main bar, have some snacks at the pool bar, dine at the lounge/dining area or enjoy the communal BBQ in the garden.
