"Beautiful hotel in exquisite grounds. Fabulous food in 7 different restaurants. Very friendly staff and excellent entertainment, although the main shows started quite late at 10pm. Lovely beach, with white sand, palm trees and turquise sea, which was very warm, as was the huge free-form pool. The only down side to the sea at this time of year is that it is that it can be a bit rough. This is fine if you like the waves and want to body surf etc, but not so good for swimming and letting your children play at the water's edge. There is nothing outside the hotel complex, so you can't stroll to outside shops, bars and restaurants as there aren't any. However, everything you need is within the complex, so that shouldn't matter. Overall, an amazing holiday, which was just perfect for our family of four, including two children aged 5 and 3."

"Beautiful resort with lovely rooms. Food good, but if you like your food piping hot pick something from the number of station which cook things fresh. Loads of options even for my vegetarian wife (except in the a la carte restaurants which had no veggie options). Decent dive centre with reasonable diving costs. Sea is rough which makes for great body surfing but can be a bit rocky and seaweedy. If you order a private taxi beware and double-check the arrangements - instead of picking us up from the hotel to go the the airport, the taxi driver went to the airport and expected us to be there! Bit of a hairy situation making us the last people to check in! Flew with Thomas Cook - worth paying the extra for the premium economy seats due to the length of flight."

"The hotel staff was really good made us feel very welcome, and the room was fantastic and very clean, the chambermaids came everyday and even stocked up the minibar every day which was all inclusive, the pool was very nice and the beach was white sand and lovely turqouise sea......for a weeks stay it was good but a little disappointed that some of the restraunts were closed due to not enough people staying at the complex which was a little frustrating as we was limited as to where to eat....after a week to 2 weeks the food was the same again and again at the restrarants they did not change the menu, i would say for 2 weeks i think alot of people would get bored as the entertainment is also repeated every week.....However on a positive note our wedding we had with them was amazing could not fault it at all they looked after us all day...with so many addl things they included in the wedding package price that we did not expect.....the staff really helped us have a wonderful stay they were very freindly especially at the Beach Bar!!!!!"

"We didn't like the fact that the entertainment turn around was only 7 days. This left us with no evening entertainment for the second week.

The food in the hotel was OK, nothing special, even the speciality restaurants. The fact that no food was covered or kept cool at the beach restaurant and was always covered in flies put us off. We wouldn't go back to this hotel."

"Great hotel, great location, fabulous beach. Third time to Punta Cana. One of
the nicest we have stayed in. Impressed by English speaking staff, which can
always be a bit tricky. Can't fault anything. We have a really nice stay.
Everything from the booking stage to arriving home went smoothly. We normally go as part of a tour operater package (meet and greet, coach transfer, welcome meeting etc etc). We didn't miss this one bit - we found the private taxi transfer easily at the hotel and they were waiting on the return with a sign. Coco Tours rep was easily identifyable and we met up with him one day to talk excursions. All in all, great stay at a good price.
We have since booked with Travel Republic (Lanzarote 6-10th Sept - Los Jameos Playa) - again, no problems whatsoever. Have recommended Travel Republic to lots of people."

"Very good new hotel. Rooms (Junior Suite) large and comfortable and service and food very good with exception of ground representative from Cocoa Tours who failed to arrive on time each occasion for meetings (over 1 hour late with no appology) and complete disinterest when in us after we explained we didn't want to purchase tours he was offering. Other than that, no complaints."
