"The hotel was nice and clean, but the food was not very good, they seemed to re-cycle the dishes each day. It was in the quiet part, which was good but we could go into the lively part at a minimal cost - i.e. the ferry cost 2.50 euros and a taxi late at nite back cost 5 euros."

"This was the worst place I have ever stayed in. From the moment we entered the building I knew we made the wrong choice. The staff were miserable, the room was adequate but so basic. It hadn't been redecorated for a good 20 years. The beds were comfortable but you couldn't get any sleep because of the NOISE. The very structure of the hotel is poor. The walls are so thin. You can hear the conversations of people next door, let alone them orgasming, playing music or generally banging around. A usual nights sleep would go like this: come in drunk @ 3am. Sleep till 6.30 am. All clubbers would arrive back at hotel at this point, slam doors and jump between each others rooms till 9.30am. At this point all families would get up to go breakfast really annoyed and slam all their doors and bang about in the corridors. At 10.00 am you could sleep again for 30 mins till the cleaners came and made more noise than the clubbers. We complained and asked to move twice but they were full. The other gripe is the food. We went all inclusive. This was a big mistake. The food is awful, tastless, badly cooked and disgusting. After 2 days we ate out for every meal. A family we met at the end of the holiday had eaten there all week and all got food poisoning. I was thoroughly disappointed on every level with Mar Armantis. Because we booked through the internet we had no rep at the hotel so no one to look after us. This was our first holiday as a couple and put so much strain and stress on us. I used to live near Blackpool and the clientele in Mar Armantis 2 had less class than the tourists. The best moment of the holiday was catching a taxi away from there to the airport."
