"very close to train station and sights.hotel room clean but bathroom a bit on the small side"
"Florence is a lovely place and easy to walk around. The hotel Martelli is very basic in the rooms but the staff are great. The sad part was at breakfast, you are not allowed to take your tea or coffee to your rooms. If you want to visit Pisa you can drop your cases of at the airport and take a taxi or bus only 10 mins away. Beware it is expensive and not much to see expect for the tower."

This is a traditional Florentine building dating from the sixteenth century which used to belong to the Medici family. The hotel is very centrally located on the main road that leads from the station to the Duomo, and is within walking distance of all the major historical sites.
