"The food left much to be desired and was always cold. There is a lift but a bit of a rabbit warren no good for older people with walking dificulties as too many steps.
Staff great and the bar attached to the hotel was really nice. Hotel not bad for the price as you coulld still afford to eat out."

"A basic low cost hotel, but at the price all you'd expect for the money.
Enjoyable stay non the less, rooms were clean and a fair size.Food was basic but plentiful."
Top Tip:
"Set towards the back of the town, not the best setting for a beach holiday,but if fit enough a half a mile flat walk gets you to the beach/train station"

"The hotel was fine. The room was kept very clean and was bigger than the average. It was good to have the balcony and the air con. The bath room was a good size.
The food was OK"
Top Tip:
"The hotel suited us as it was a reasonable walk to the beach and the train station giving us access to everything we needed With local shops and bars on route."

"The hotel was nice,in a great location and as we traveled with children,the park and bouncy castle across the street was fantastic, the rooms were cleaned every day and the pool was nice though quite small,the food was good,the snack bar was excellent with very friendly staff and you could get table service right across the street there was tables right at park. We all enjoyed our stay and would go back again."
Top Tip:
"the beach is beautiful though quite rough on the feet (a free exfoliation), I would recommend investing in beach shoes. The buckineer did nice meals and that and the tavern did family entertainment."

The hotel Mont Palau is situated between two big squares in the centre of Pineda de Mar in the commercial district. It is also conveniently located 450m from the beach.

Accommodation

The hotel consists of 125 rooms each with a complete private bathroom, telephone, central heating, air-conditioning, telephone, safety deposit boxes (local charge) and satellite TV. Some rooms also have a balcony/terrace. Baby cots are available on request incurring an extra daily charge, paid locally. Four rooms with special bathrooms are particularly available for disabled persons. Linen is changed once per week, while towels are changed daily.

Food & Beverage

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in buffet style in the air-conditioned main restaurant. There is a bar and a pool bar serving a variety of refreshments and alcoholic beverages.

Sports & Leisure

You will find the swimming pool on the terrace-solarium on the tile roof. There is evening entertainment performed by the staff twice per week during low season and double that amount in high season. There are also baby games in swimming pool and terrace. A special organisation, Pineda Animación, is in charge of the entertainment for the children (and adults) in the centre of Pineda de Mar and on the beach.

Facilities & Services

All public areas are centrally heated and air-conditioned. Facilities in the hotel include billiards, video games, satellite TV and VCR room, two elevators, laundry service, internet connection, car rental, luggage storage room and night security. Excluding the swimming pool most of all the other areas are handicapped accessible.
