"the hotel was surprisingly clean, and the general service was good. the single 'budget room' that i had, was small and basic, but exactly what i had paid for, and my room was checked every day..whilst i was out..the bed was made, a clean towel left and the rubbish bag changed. the situation of the hotel, could not be more convenient ...particularly if you intend spending most of your time in copenhagen; the central station is 50yds. away....and it's worth knowing that there is a direct line to, and from the airport. the train stops directly under the airport terminal and takes approx. 15 mins. at a cost of around £3.50 per pers. each way. take the bus and it will take the best part of an hour, for the same price. the tivoli gardens are 2 mins. walk away..as are the shops; the town square (which everyone heads for) and the main shopping centre area, are 5mins walk away. cycles, which are the danes main sorce of transport in the city, are for hire at the hotel as well, they are in nearly new cond., and can be hired for around £10.00 per day..and as copenhagen is designed to accommodate cyclists, it's a much more pleasant experience than most would imagine. all round experience was excellent and the hotel highly recommended, for good value."
Top Tip:
"if you want to experience top quality danish smorbrod...(open sandwiches) made as the danes like them, then visit 'CAF'E SORGENFRI' on BROLAEGGERSTRAEDE....which is a back street, just off the main 'walking street' running through the central part of the town. it's a small , but cosy cellar cafe/pub, and very traditional; it has exsisted for years (i used it for the first time in 1969), and has always had a great reputation..be there before 8pm. though, if you want to eat and book a table in advance."

"basic room....we were upgraded so maybe the original room would have been spartan
free danish buffet style breakfast was excellent
location v good..yards from central train station
hotel clean and has a quaint 20s style charm
would stay here again and already recommended to young friends"
Top Tip:
"try mojo bluesbar...cheapest draught beer before 10.30pm...live music...great atmosphere and a bohemian international clientele"

"Great location and close to shops and restaurants but still few minutes walk away from the harbor where everything happen in summer. The hotel room was clean and secure and bathroom were availalble but might be busy in summer. If you need to access to internet, its free but you might need to queue. in general it was a good experience and i would recommand it."
