"I think this hotel is excellent - the rooms are large and well appointed and the grounds are superb. This was our second visit and we would definitely go back again!
I think the only slight downsides are a) the Pool Bar food is rather unimaginative and b) the hotel will do well to make one of the pools adults only - perhaps the small, Lazy Pool at the top of the hill.
We also left this feedback at the hotel."Top Tip:

"The Novotel is split into 2 hotels. One the Novotel Beach and One the Novotel Palms. They are seperated by a large road. The road is always patrolled 24hrs and someone crosses the road with you. The Palms is quieter and is full of chalets and 2 pools. Good for families. The Beach is on the beach and promenade side and good for couples. It is more hotel like this side. The Staff are lovely and can not do enough for you. We even lost clothes over the balcony and our cleaner returned them all the next day. The location is great. It is a 10 min walk down the promenade into Naama bay."
Top Tip:
"Do not eat unless you eat in a hotel. The food outside of hotels are awful. The Sofitel is a beautiful hotel. Also the Marriott. If we went back we would go to the Sofitel. The Sofitel has a beautiful Indian restuarant. Beats all the curries Ive ever had. 5* for sure! although you need to book.
Sahara and Stella are their local beers both nice and we had no bad stomachs from them, although the wine looked awful. We avoided it. Alchohol is so expensive we didnt drink much at all.
Sharm is a rip off!! They think we are rolling in money and the more we give in the more they'll keep charging us. We were distgusted at prices. We were paying around £40.00 a night for food. Beer is around £5 a bottle. The only cheap thing is bottled water.
Cairo is a good tour, although expensive. Its a very smoggy and dirty place and a long day. It seemed after we got ripped off. First choice was the best company to book with. And also the most cost effective.
Do not book tours unless with a tour operator. We did a snorkel tour or tiran Island and someone got left in the sea as the boat sped off. Scary!!
Naama bay was full of pushy egyptians, who want you to talk to them. Just say no and keep walking, dont sign books or any other crap they throw at you. We avoided Naama Bay, but apart from that there was nothing to do! We are both young in our late twenties. We were very bored and didnt like Sharm el Sheikh. We suggest you look at Luxor and the Nile cruise. Thats the only thing in Egypt with good reviews."Novotel Sharm El Sheikh - Beach Hotel check-in Date:

"The hotel was clean enough could of been slightly better but it was satisfactory, the staff were friendly and helpful and the pools were all nice, i would go back to this hotel
The beach is nice as well and the town centre is a 5-10 minute lovely walk along by the beach."Top Tip:
"If you have kids bed & breakfast is a good option as breakfast was nice, toast/bread/pastries/fresh pancakes/eggs cooked however you like/yoghurts and cereals, nice juice. Food is the evening was a bit bland and may not be to all tastes, in the town centre there is TGI's,McDonalds,KFC,Pizza Hut,Hard Rock Cafe, there are lots of other nice restaurants but when you have kids at least you know the food will be to there liking."Novotel Sharm El Sheikh - Beach Hotel check-in Date:

"Absolutely beautiful hotel! So clean and well looked after. Ever so friendly and helping staff. 10/10!"
Top Tip:
"Hotel is just a short walk from the beach and all the restaurants and bars. Just be repaired to run across the road (and fast!) if you stay in Novotel Palm instead of Novotel Beach. Nevertheless, this didn't cause any problems for us. We enjoyed the peace of Novotel Palm enormously, even with kids aged 9, 9 and 10. Would recommend La Franco Italian Restaurant on the beach boulevard, good food with reasonable prices. All of us had the tummybuck; please please go to pharmacy and ask for Antinal for any kind of first symptoms, i.e. tummy cramps, feeling "yakkis" etc. Trip to Cairo is definitely a must! "Very nice hotel I used to go there every year, it's so comfortable, near to everything intertainment, all room are next to the beach just go down stairs you'll find your self on the beach and the swimming pool also, but really Travel Republic offered me a very reasonable price, so I think I'll always book through this site."

"When we arrived at the hotel reception told us the hotel was booked and we had to go to the sister hotel across the road Novotel Palms. I had read similiar reviews where this had happened to other people I was not happy. My boyfriend insisted we had booked to stay in Novotel beach and we were not moving. They left us for 5 mins and then came back saying they had found a room. The rooms are nice the bed was huge. The maids came every day however, they never changed the bed covers whilst we were there for the whole week. The hotel is more suitable for families and couples ] looking for a getaway. The evening entertainment was poor.
Good location on the beach front and approximately 10 mins walk to shops and restaurants. Staff are friendly. Wide choice for breakfast the menu never changed it got a bit boring after the first 3 days.
Overall the hotel was nice and I would stay there again."Top Tip:

"We had a really good sized room, balcony with sunbeds, great bathroom with walk in shower. The room was cleaned every day. The food and facilities were excellent and the staff were really courteous and friendly."

"we stayed in the Palm hotel accross the busy road from the beach it was excellent a newly built hotel so everything was new, lovely rooms, great food but pricey on the drinks good kids club for the children and smashing pools which were quiet no rushing for the sunbeds on a morning, staff helpful and friendly all in all a great stay"
