"Couple of things not brilliant. Had to change rooms because first one not very good. Restaraunts were just average and could only book 3 of them for some reason."

"The hotel was fabulous and we couldn't find any fault with the staff or the grounds. The only thing i would warn anyone about was the evening entertainment as the shows were pretty poor and the only other place to go was the attached club which you got free entry to but had to pay for drinks so we spent most nights in the room watching films on the american channels. I would recommend this hotel to those with families but not for couples wanting a bit of night life, we wouldn't go back purely for this reason but everything else was amazing and we still had a fabulous time."
Top Tip:
"If you stay in the Punta Cana area we would definately recommend the two excursions we did which were swimming with dolphins at Manati Park (approx £35 each) and the Marinarium (approx £37 each) they were excellent value for money. The marinarium is a trip snorkelling around the coral reef and you get to swim with the nursing sharks and stingrays which was a little scary but an experience i'll never forget."Occidental Grand Punta Cana Hotel check-in Date:

Hotel Details - Occidental Grand Punta Cana Hotel
From out of the vivid turquoise-blue hues of the Atlantic, a powdered-sugar beach stretches the length of the Dominican Republic's Eastern shore. This seemingly endless path of stunning white sand is a fitting welcome mat to the all-inclusive Occidental Grand Punta Cana. This Spanish-style mega resort amazes guests with its impressive amenities: over 700 yards of spectacular beachfront on the most celebrated beach in the country; hundreds of picturesque coconut palms, 865 luxuriously-appointed rooms in 17 three-story, white buildings; nine themed restaurants and seven bars, all included in the nightly room rate. Resort's distance to the airport is 30 km.
