"Due to overbooking we were transferred to another 5 star resort for two days. We were pretty angry at the time but, with hindsight, thoroughly enjoyed the alternative location, which was better. The Oceania was a truly 5 star hotel with excellent service and facilities at all levels. In truth, better at the beginning when the germans were there but deteriorated noticeably towards the end when the "special offers for end of season" people arrived. The whole quality, particularly the food, diminished at this stage of the holiday. The hotel was truck by the norovirus well into our second week and a lot of people, including staff, were affected by this, including my wife.
The flight home was interesting also as many people from the hotel became sick on the plane which, at one stage, I though would be diverted after the 'is there a doctor on board' announcement was made. Overall, a most enjoyable holiday."
Top Tip:
"Hotel is quite remote and any location of particular interest is a long way away. The local town of nea Moudania was quite interesting with some good shops and a good market on Wednesdays."

"Just back from our 2 week honeymoon at the Oceania Club...it was by far the best place we've ever stayed at. This was pure luxury and pampering from start to finish...

- Collected at the airport by a designated driver
- Champagne upon arrival at the hotel
- Porter takes you and your luggage to your room via golf buggy
- Room and mini bar cleaned and replenished daily with towels changed daily (if required)

The staff are so polite and cannot do enough for you.

Our room (a Junior Suite with sea view) which was clean & spacious.
Sitting out on the balcony at night with a glass of wine was brilliant...you can hear the waves from the sea...awsome!

Food was amazing...plently to choose from and different theme nights (Mexican, Mediterranean etc) in the main buffet restaurant plus 3 other restaurants (Greek, Asian and Italian) . Buffet food was constantly replenished and was never left sitting for hours. Service at other restaurants was first class!

Entertainment team were brilliant, Irish Bingo at the pool side during the day and loads of other activities available. Again staff are so helpful and friendly and the evening performances/shows were also fantastic.

The pool and beach were never too busy...loads of available sunbeds with drinks served to you at your sunbed, pure luxury. The Café bar is available for lunch and ice cream by the pool. All inclusive included all drinks named brands, cocktails etc

Would I go back? - YES!!!"
Top Tip:
"The walk to Nea Moudania is about 15 mins although there is a free shuttle bus which drops and collects you from Nea Moudania although there's not much to see here except the market on Wednesdays (be warned the market is busy but its also a great place to grab a bargain!)."

"Lovely hotel and fantastic position. The beach was lovely and perfect for the children. Service and food was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and polite. Only slight negative comment would be around the all inclusive meals. We were under the impression this could be in the a la carte restaurants, but the main restaurant is a buffet arrangement and visits to the a la carte restaurants are limited due to their size. We were allowed a visit per a la carte per week which wasn't a problem.
All standard suites are on the ground floor which meant we did experience quite a lot of noise from people above, but this was sorted by a room move.
We would definitely return to the hotel, but would probably upgrade to a deluxe suite as these are on all floors and the private pool looked quieter than the main one."
Top Tip:
"We hired a car from the hotel for one day, but didn't really find any beaches better than the hotel one. There wasn't much to look at on the rest of the peninsula.

We had a private taxi transfer to/from the airport which was a great advantage."

"The hotel had everything that you could wish for. Good food in all of the resteraunts.
It was very clean and the staff were all polite and very helpfull. The Spa facility was particularly excellent. Probably the best hotel that I have spent a holiday at."
Top Tip:
"No only went into the town for a look round twice. The hotel facilities were that good we did not feel the need to go anywhere else. We wanted a quiet relaxing week and that is exactly what we got."

Top Tip:
"The immediate vincinity was the downside of the hotel. It looked as though it was being developed and a bit of a building site so we did not tend to eat out here. We did however hire a car and went exploring some of the other regions which were very pretty."

It is a new all inclusive resort, built in a luxurious, contemporary Mediterranean style and inspired by the Greek architectural traditions, offering its guest the ultimate experience in luxury and leisure. The traditional town of Nea Moudania with its harbour, taverns, cafes and bars are a 10 min. walking distance. It is located in the traditional Greek town of Nea Moudania in Chalkidiki, a natural bay with breathtaking views over the Aegean Sea and the Olympus Mountain.
