"Simple apartment with two good-sized bedrooms. Nice simple furniture and marble floors.
Bathroom tiny and very basic with handheld shower.
Main issue is it overlooks the port of Poros and a ferry stands there overnight with its engine running. They load up vehicles from 6:00 am.
Handy for the town with several shops and restaurants and two excellent restaurants within 10 mins walk up the road (away from town)."
Top Tip:
"All the restaurants in the area that we tried served good food and had reasonable prices. Especially recommend the two up the hill - Sunset Taverna and the second taverna labelled "Greek Cousine", which is run by a guy who was in Captain Corelli's Mandolin."
